@yknowthatgirl I hope you do! Make sure you travel as much as you can during your stay! My friend is au pairing in Erlangen now! She should be there through September, I think. Y'all should meet up! Message me on fb and I'll send you her page link.
@slo1174 I'm going too! The dad was telling me to save a bit of money before I come over so I can travel farther than their current au pair has. He's Irish so I'm in the same boat as you with the English speaking dad and German mom. And I'll be sure too!
Hi! I studied abroad in Germany last year and am now considering going back as an au pair! I was linked your videos by Kristin from the agency! Please keep sharing your experiences!
@superanjichan That's so great! I hope you come back, maybe we could meet up and chat! You can subscribe to my channel if you like, so it will let you know when I update. :)
How did you go about getting a visa to be an au pair in Germany? Did you even need a visa (I have read conflicting answers on the web) I have also read you can enter Germany without a visa and then apply for a residence permit when you get there.
@lovegaelgarciabernal I applied to be an au pair through an agency and they tell you to get an "au pair visa" once you get here. I actually haven't gotten mine yet, just because we haven't had the time, but I had to go to the Mayor and declare I was a resident first. I'll let you know how it goes whenever we do get it.
welcome in my town :D

This is really interesting. Normally there are just videos from German au pairs in other countrys and never au pair in Germany:)
