Mayor Mike was for term-limits and used some very harsh language against those politicians who wanted to repeal it.
Why...? Because; at the time it was to his advantage to defend term limits to stop the (then) very popular (9/11 former Mayor of NYC) Rudy Giulliani from seeking a third term.

You're right. I really admire Bloomberg's acumen. He was able to use the term limit issue to gain office despite the previous mayor being enormously popular. Now he is dispensing with term limits, which is easy, because he has no good rival. It just goes to show what a great political strategist he is, and I want a mine of that brilliance working for NYC as mayor.

I was born and raised here 50 yrs went to NYC public school. My parents before me were born and raised here, went to NYC public schools. My 16 yr old son goes to NYC public school!
