@niffy20 it was the following episode echo where Clark asks Lois out(sorta)where they were going to a monster truck ralley but he didn't show up due to finding out about Oliver being in trouble when he was standing under a bomb

just finished this episode, it s the best this season so far. What happened to the music in smallville. that was 1 of the reason why i watched it!

i hate how they prtetend their is no clark and chloe relationship. they built something up for 8 years and now they just ignore it.

Wideawakex4 i think that there is now a distance between the two characters because of what happened in season 8 finale.

The negative tension in the chloe/clark relationship is coz he refused to go back in time and save jimmy, because of what happened in the episode reckoning (where clarks dad died coz he saved lana) and she is hurt by that and cant see his pov.... I hope they resolve it too though as they been mates for all those years

ur right , i do agree with u on that. but what i feel is uspetting is the fact that the writers are doing this, to make way for clois. they could have gone about the relationshipo of chlartk and clois in so many different ways, u know? it just upsets me, i i wish that there were more chlark scense like befoere.

Earlier smallville episodes e.g. devoted (season 4) mentioned the possibility, Clark stated (rudely i think) that he simply wasnt interested in her...

Any chance of them being hooked up was ruined by lana and when lana was out of the picture, chloe was married to jimmy..

I feel, not sure if you agree, that the clois relationship has been rushed and that lois is rebound after 'requiem' episode

ur right it has been rushed. they never really built it up and now in the possibility that this may be the last season they are rushing to gert it done and in the proicess they are ruining it. but then i'll never forget in the episode when clark was in a alternate reality he told chloe she meant more to him than she would ever know. i feel shlark fans werent given their due and now we have to deal with it. its sad but maybe it will get better.

The clois relationship went from brother-sister to one of romance in what feels like a space of a few episodes.

I think writers didnt want there to be a chlark episode because chloe is not a true character to the superman ethos possibly.

I agree Season 7 ep 18 'apocalypse' was a good episode for chlark and clois fans.

i understand where ur comin from but i feel that the clois relationship has been building ever since the start of the 8th season but then got paused when lana returned to the scene. but now it's back on and i think its goin at a great pace

ya...even thou i am a clois fan, i do agree their relationship especially after lana left seemed kinda rebound esp. since it seemed like clark forgot that lois was their when lana's in....
