  • What kind of differential you have?

  • @16wata Kaaz 2-way

  • that ka moves I would love to have that as a drift/ daily driver is the head built to achieve those numbers

  • @DcEvoIX No. It dyno'd 120RWHP stock. Exhaust and intake put it around 140RWHP on the dyno, JWT ECU put it at like 149.

for this event I also had a straight pipe, which helps with HP as well.

  • @mav1178 that's not bad at all, really good power increase for an older n/a 4 cyl. those jwt ecu's come ready to go right or you wanted a better map to tune on?

  • @DcEvoIX Well it was plug and play, instant 10HP. No need to spend too much money on tuning!

  • @mav1178 nice that's what I like to hear

  • drifting listening to John Digweed ???? omg its like heaven!!!

  • @bagredositio Yup, Transitions by John Digweed.

  • clutch kick right?

  • is that stock?

  • so its a stock ka?

  • @chris13954 with some mods, yes.

  • Chances are the actual HP at the wheel is really around 136HP and up. But not actually 150HP, Hell it might not even be 150HP at the crank.

BTW I caught those wall taps at the end xD NJ regardless.

  • @xplat It's dyno'd 140RWHP without the JWT ECU, which was on the car. The JWT ECU adds 10RWHP dyno'd later.

  • description says 150hp, no way!!!!!

  • @jar288 Yes, I have dyno charts to prove it.

  • Hey man!!! that was a good drfting!! congrats to you man!! and youre right "ITS ALL DRIVER"

  • What mods on the engine?

  • skills for sure, by the way people who posted, the reason some drift cars have a "wing" as you called it, is because grip is an important part of drifting.

  • is there any outside view?

  • that car has a mean 2 way

  • You honestly don't need a huge rear spoiler for drifting on banks, because of the weight transfer of the car under load. LOL thats what I figured...nice runs man.

  • you don't really need it for normal 2-3 gear courses but for high speed, a spoiler can make the rear more noticeably stable

  • less down force harder to control drift unless you hav the skill wing helps

  • i hella look up to this video im keeping my ka till i can do consecutive runs like that

  • Remember, it's all driver. Who cares if you have 300 or 400RWHP, what's the point if you can't use it? Good car setup (suspension + chassis) and a competent driver goes a LONG way.

  • @mav1178 THANKU!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • no aero and is that music from your unit in car? and is it true the bank is bad to run with rear spoiler?

  • You honestly don't need a huge rear spoiler for drifting on banks, because of the weight transfer of the car under load.

  • The music is a John Digweed mix from his weekly radio show on KISS 100 in the UK. One of my favorite DJs.

  • oh sht. he fuked the car up at the end..

  • great driving

  • i mean tires* yeah what suspension and tires you running?

  • nice what suspension mods do u have? and tired your using?

  • Suspension: cusco front t/c rod cusco rear upper arm kg/mm DNA coilover (custom ordered 8/7 spring rate) Tein inner, Kazama outer tie rods various suspension arms, braces, etc welded roll-cage Kaaz 2-way LSD 225/45-17 Bridgestone Potenza S-02 PP tires front on 17x8.5" 5Zigen FN-01R forged wheels 205/55-16 Yokohama ES100 tires rear on 16x8.5" Watanabe RS8 wheels Rotora front big brake kit Endless NA-D rear pads a few other things I probably missed...
  • bad luck at the end but still good job man.

  • thank you; the tires were slightly overheated from running 3 consecutive runs, and I was a bit too aggressive on the throttle at the end. plus, i don't have much skill at it. :P

  • more skill than I have haha.

  • quoc ly also drifted with a 150hp s13. he has and formula d & and d1 license. he also made it to the top 16.

  • never heard of him.

  • I just watched his clip......Dude has a crazy Loud Ass BOV..............(TANDEM CLIP)

  • u did better than that other retard who went in for the US, which was ernie fixmer(he was terrible)

  • dude, thats awesome, ka power man

  • most cars with low hp, such as yours could make it, only difference is initiation point is all, but nice run.

  • no doubt... skill dude..

  • hes drifting it hachi style very underpowered

  • what did u do to your ka24de to get 150whp?

  • 120RWHP stock, +13 RWHP w/ 80mm 5Zigen exhaust, +6RWHP w/ AEM intake, +10RWHP w/ JWT ECU. And for this event I had a test pipe. I have dyno charts too.

  • your really good

  • Hah...this is sucks. D1GP is the BEST!

  • wow

  • only irwindale can bring you drifting like that.. no offense to all the other tracks out there, because they are all unique, but irwindale just kicks ass

  • Really good runs, man.

  • hahahaha he hit the wall lol

  • go-kart barriers.

  • holy crap... he know's how to get it done...

  • Damn! nice run man. This one's one of my favorite vids on here.

  • nice drift, its nice to see a KA making those runs, power isn't everything ^_^

too bad about the love tap though, its harder than it looks sometimes i know

  • Kumakubo and Kazama can kick Alex's taillight

  • i agree with drifter001 lol... u came pretty close 2 the wall be4 that 2 but good video

  • too bad for hitting the wall a bit in da end of the run

  • wow..just wow..very nice man..nice angle and line..keep it up! =)

  • who ever said ka motors can't drift? dude you're forgetting something realllll bad. power doesn't mean shit. a ae86 can drift how about that? is it because you are hating on the sr motors? come on...there's always a up and down in things. the truth man.

  • there is, i am not putting down any motor. I am just merely pointing out that a KA can drift. Oh, and a AE86 can drift too, and they also just happen to be almost 1/3 lighter too. I never said any of the things you mentioned, so please do not put words in my mouth.

  • my mistake. it's just that on the forums guys with ka motors always talk bad about sr's. sorry about that. but i forgot to say that's a good run. keep it up.

  • no worries. people on forums always say whatever they want to say... ultimately whatever you decide, it's like picking your favorite ice cream. everyone has their own taste, own preference, same with motor preference. SR is best bang-for-buck engine swap, KA is more unique with tons of torque (esp. KA turbo), etc etc.

  • AE86 with KA (my friend Javier has one) is insanely fun to drive! 155HP in sub-2200lb car!!! If I still had my car I would've tried to make it 2200lbs and see what 155HP can do with that little weight!!! Oh, and my car was full interior with heavy cage, and full stereo in the trunk (amps/sub)... haha.

  • sweet :D
