Beyond the Veil Ministies is having a throw back annointed service with a great man of God Gene Martin Wednesday October 6th 2010 Come be blessed, and those that don't remember him tell your older relatives and then for the young , come see where the churches of today got their style. 5500 W. 99th Street Oaklawn, IL.
My mother used to pack us up in our 1968 Chevy station wagon and take us to Miracle Valley,those church services are still part of my life,there were real miracles I know God is real.Then we would come home and play church,not my mom but us kids.
I got Bro Davis ( the organist) on Album,,,Its a Yellow vinyl ,,and on it , one of his numbers is,, Lets have Church! ,, Shoutin music !! ;-) most of aa allen records were on colored vinyl ,, like green yellow and blue! ,, i love em!
Oh how so very bless my heart is right now! I just discovered that Brother Gene Martin is still alive and singing the songs of the Lord! What an incredible person Bro. Gene is! Our young people was in "Campmeeting" with Brother Gene and the A.A. Allen Revival crusade back in the 60's and we got to sing in Gene's choir!! A treasured memory that I cherish to this day!! Gene Martin is an awesome, awesome Child of God!
I had the privalege of seeing Rev. Gene Martin this last wednesday night at a fellows pastors church. PRAISE GOD It was an awesome service. I'm still feeling it, and we should never lose it. I've seen the you tube videos of Gene and now I can say I've met him. If you guys like this one you should hear him sing "We shall be changed"
My God! it's 1:23 a.m. and I feel like a host of angels is in my room while I shout! They HAD IT!!!! Praise God for this anointed choir, Bro. Gene Martin, and that off the chain ORGANIST! Man oh man! I haven't heard organ playin like that. Brother Man was tearin' it up! PRAISE GOD. HALLELUJAH!!! I GOT IT!!!
If you haven't heard an organist like that you need to stop by our church some time when the spirit of God really gets moving. You should listen to "We shall be changed" by Gene Martin. Now what you felt at one in the morning, Don't lose. Always remember to hold that first love. Draw nigh to God and He'll draw nigh unto you. God will take you as far as you let him. When you get in the spirit of the Lord you won't want to go back to anything else.
The Lord sure used these two men!!! Brother Gene Martin and Rev Allen. They were so annointed and made such a great team together. So inpiring and uplifting, makes me want to break out in worship along with them. GLory be to God!!!
now i ask! from 1980 till present what has happened to christian worship? i ask is god in the christian rap, the rehearsed praise dancers, the charismatic kan kan dance? what happened to the power spirit and anointing of god that was once so prevalent and characteristic of pentecostalism? what is called church today is nothing more than a shadow of what it once was or could yet be! evry preacher today is seeking that next big thing, that next socalled move of god. it's nothing more than a trend!

That is what I love about my church. So many churches now days have to have light shows, fog machines, & coffee bars. The way I see it is what was good for my Grandmother is good for me to. The old time way. Just entering in w/ old hymns.

our pastor once said i mean man he was preaching hard that night and during his preaching he said everyone stand up! we all stood up and then he said "turn around" so we turned around and then he said "you see that in the front YOU DIDN'T COME BECAUSE OF A COFFEE MACHINE!!!! YOU CAME BECAUSE OF THE GOSPEL AND BECAUSE OF THE WORD OF GOD!!" or "something like that" but yeah then we all turned back around and sat down and i thought man that's neat! AMEN
I know what you mean! I have about 40 of Bro. Allen's tv shows and they are so incredible. My parents were first introduced to pentecost in Bro. Allen's tentmeetings. My mom got the baptism of the Holy Ghost one night under the tent and was out under the power of God for almost four hours. Bro. Allen was a great man of God. I'm a young old timer! Be blessed!
I remember the old A.A. Allen tent revivals and Gene Martin. Praise God, you know those good old times were the best. I haven't seen anything like it since.
Well then you need to come to my church and we still GOT IT and you can feel it and get it and you can experience it and get rebaptized with the fire and holy ghost YEA!!!!
The one I go to sure does shout and clap and run the isles and leap for joy. Singing in the holy ghost and gets with it and the holy ghost bomb goes off people just are like FIRE inside and outside YEA!!!!
I was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost under the late Rev. A. A. Allen and song in this choir in this video in my youth. I also obeyed Acts 2;38 in Jesus Name at Miracle Valley Assembly in Miracle Valley, AZ.

I saw Brother Gene two months ago here in New York City. He gave me a great big hug, and it was truly a wonderful blessing. His singing is as wonderful as it was 40 years ago!
Oh how I wish the Penetecostal movement could have stayed as lively as this. So full of spontaneous anointing. Let me know how I can obtain videos like this one. I would love to add it to my small collection of Gene Martin and A A Allen lp's.
They lost it because of pride. They lost what it is to be holiness, The world has crept in upon them! I am 4th generation Pentecostal Apostolic and oh I an can see a change in it with in the past 20 yrs. Now its a show and everyone is painted up and decked up instead of being prayed up.
Yeah your right. But the hope is that there is still a few small groups of us that will die before we let it go. Just like a Jacob when he wrestled with the angel. I'm just 30 and it's holiness or hell for me.
I've met Bro. Martin. We were a part of the same ministry in Atlanta a few years back. He still sings as strong; and the last time I saw him (2-3 years ago), he was singing this song. Powerful!
He will be 71 years old this April 2012!!! Praise God he's still going on in the Lord!!!!!!!!

That was David Davis on the Organ he played for A.A. Allen and the Miracle Valley Choir. Gene Martin is the guy directing and singing.
