Elephant was an amazing, artistic movie. Some people dont like it, cuz they found it "boring, slow, kids just walking down hallways" but those people missed the whole point of the movie, which to me is ATMOSPHERE. After I saw elephant, I thought "hm, interesting", but as I started to think about it later on, I realized this movie is not even just a movie, it is true art. Not everyone can appreciate it, but it hit me in that dark, breathless, uneasy way that I never forgot and its one of my favs

Its snobbish to turn your nose down at a film like this. "Hope its not another Elephant". He's pushing out filmmaking a little different than other directors, who copy other people styles or forms of storytelling. Bloodsport's just one of many. RIGHT?

I have enjoyed some of van sant other films,but lets be honest here elephant, was a slow docmentery of of the columbine school slayings. It was just to slow for an a.d.d. adult like my self if you liked it. I can understand why my video was not appealing to you. Stay tuned?
