My feeling is, recently deceased bodies should be dropped in the river as a form of Funeral service. Why mess up that beautiful Cosat Rican country side with all those Grave Yards. Plus it's cheaper and promotes tourism.

I'd much rather go to Costa Rica every year and visit the Croc who ate my parental units instead of visiting a Grave yard over here.

I've seen captive keepers use targets so they associate the targets with food and not the keepers themselves...not that it'd really be any better to do that with wild crocs...

I've been there and seen this take place. the crocs were almost wiped out of these rivers because of a massive cleanup campaign by the government. they actually need a messy river to survive in. these river crocs are also territorial, and the guides feed the same ones every day in the same spot... so don't worry about the croc getting the "hey it's a human - he must have food" thing because you are the middle of nowhere and no tourist is getting these without assistance.
