I just had to comment on this. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes as I listen to this. God has used this awesome song to help me through many difficult times...and continues to show how awesome He is.
I used to be a non-believer. I always doubted myself going into a church and seeing people get baptized and filled with the spirit. I'm 20 now and I now believe after a car accident i was in 3 years ago. I remember the doctors telling my friends and family that i wouldnt survive. A preacher came in and gave me a prayer cloth and i prayed with him. I stand here today, with two feet, a great working mind. And believing in him.
I'm happier than ever to know they were right in the beginning. :)

There is nothing against the law about a child praying silently in school. A child talking in their heart heart to God can not be stopped by law. Carrying and reading a Bible to themselves isn't against the law either. If they are asked why they should be allowed to answer honestly because children are taught in school that they shouldn't lie or be rude =)
There is nothing in the law that says a child can not pray silently in school. No one can say a word to them about it. A child with a head bowed in prayer talking to God in their heart can not be stopped. Right now there is no law that says a child can not carry and read a Bible in school either. If another student inquires as to the reasons why the child has their head bowed or is reading their Bible there is no reason they shouldn't be able to tell them either. Being rude is impolite =)

Currently in my college biology class, the professor is adamant that evolution is correct, and the university is fairly large, so I am surrounded by non-believers. I was getting discouraged reading the professor's textbook, but your description makes me realize again that God is greater than science, and that if we just believe, it's obvious that God is there right by our side, loving us just as we are.
actually science is just what God enable people to have - their ability to discover and understand about His works, the way He create things and the rules He set. So if science claims "new" discovery , it has been there already long before and not really new; what people find not relevant to Bible actually either not correct or because ppl have interpreted Bible incorrectly. And science also has so many premises that require higher level of belief than the Bible requires

Jesus Christ is the arm that reached out to us and embracing him would be embracing the body (God the Father). I can't wait to actually see my Father face to face and worship him for all eternity. It's so perfect and it's thanks to Jesus Christ that we have this opportunity. I'm so glad I finally decided to completely humble myself and give my life over. :)

I miss my son. I listen to this song every year around his birthday (Feb 1) and I think of him. I don't know why this particular song, but I remember him and I wish I could hear this song without SADNESS being attached to it :(

God is an Awesome GOD..It is so sad how alot of ppl want to take CHRIST out of alot of stuff. The pain that Jesus went thu. for us. I don't understand why stop praying in school. Look what has happened in schools ppl bringing guns. Here in S.C they want to get rid of the license plates that says In God We Trust..I have news for them. I thank GOD to see there are people that is not ashamed of Christ. Cause what other man can stand there and have the same thing that JESUS went through done to them. I know I am so much in love with my father God. Here in South Carolina we are dealing with a Judge that wants to remove on our license plates In God We Trust or anything that has to do with religion. But I have news for them They won't stop alot of us. And if you child wants to pray in school let them NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY- AMEN

He was more than a man. He was God made manefest in flesh and dwelt among us. If we were all God then why do our bodies break down over time? We can not be in two places at once. If we was all God then we would all be in disagreement with eachother. I am God alone and there is none beside me. I know not one. Oh and I live a normal life and I stay away from places and situations that lead into temptations that will cause me to sin more than I do already. There are many on here that will agree

I see what you're saying. But your comment also makes me sad, because you do not know how much Jesus loves you. It's not that we need Jesus to live a MORAL life. We need Jesus to live a life of ETERNITY and a life of goodness to glorify God. That's our purpose.

Thank you for posting this and the description. That is exactly how i was feeling. Currently in my college biology class, the professor is adamant that evolution is correct, and the university is fairly large, so I am surrounded by non-believers. I was getting discouraged reading the professor's textbook, but your description makes me realize again that God is greater than science, and that if we just believe, it's obvious that God is there right by our side, loving us just as we are.

actually science is just what God enable people to have - their ability to discover and understand about His works, the way He create things and the rules He set. So if science claims "new" discovery , it has been there already long before and not really new; what people find not relevant to Bible actually either not correct or because ppl have interpreted Bible incorrectly. And science also has so many premises that require higher level of belief than the Bible requires
