Ok. I see the similarity in the riff but thats it. The Hives are 10,000 times better. I would think these guys are ok but now that they said The Hives copied they're song I think they suck. They're just trying to get noticed. And besides artists borrow riffs all the time and usually they change it up.

I can hear the similarities, however the guitar in this sounds a tad too psychedelic for Tick Tick Boom to be a major rip-off.

too bad this suing the Hives is going to backfire like the douche from the creaky boards who thought coldplay ripped of his song,
& if they did, their version has killed yours / the publicity from the suing will be awesome for your band so drop the lawsuit & thank them
