I think it’s fantastic that Joe Biden sees a person first for who he actually is, and sees past any physical disability.

Joe Biden's point was to honor Chuck Graham, and he did so, forgetting any physical limitations he had.

We could all take a lesson from this, and rethink the way we define, identify and refer to people with disabilities and limitations. How often we note a person's disability before we recognize him/her for the person they actually are.
