I've never finished the game and I never will, I prefer wetern RPG's a lot more than J-RPG's, as I am more into "create your own character"-thingies. But really, there are not many games with such a grand, orchestral arragements. Japanese people really know how to treat music in their games. =)

@ac1dchr15t you should seriously consider playing it. so many people say its overrated, but think about it this way: something can only be overrated if a ton of people think its great. and i personally think its the greatest game ever, and that it always will be. amazing plot/story, incredible characters, extremely fun battling (and not very hard at all), massive landscape to travel across. i could go on. but seriously, if you ever get a chance, definitely try it out

The great think about this piece of music in particular is that it tells you so much about the situation without there being any need for text. Just a few images of the world and then you get off the train and you know the magnitude of what has to be done!

The urgency the music creates just completes that sequence so well and hooks you in so perfectly!

This is like band music composed by an average college student...

There was only one game I put more time into than FF7 and tactics and that was star ocean 2 (260 hours). and Suikoden II was close behind FF7.
