I think u r missing the scene's ironic message. From the beginning the marines were brainwashed into linking masculine sexual aggression and violence together in their drills at training camp. But this scene was the first to present a warning relayed through the subtext of "These Boots Were Made For Walking" with a prostitute who may or may not be Vietcong insurgents.
