The honda pilots never had a rear diff lock, they just got a mode to lock it in 4x4 thats it..

ya, and that makes it a diff lock. the front/rear/center can all be locked, but only up to 18mph. durr

Ok smart alec,,,the pilot doesnt even have low range gearging, and only the centre diff can be locked to give almost 50:50 torque distribution and that too very ineffective for extreme off roading,it can barely go on soft sand,, the rear cannot be locked!!! It doesnt even have a front diff lock!! Do you even know what a rear diff lock does?? Durrrr....

the pilot uses electroviscous clutches in their front and rear diffs. they are computer controlled and can absolutely lock the left and right tires together. it's called VTM-4. do your fucking research. i never said they have low-range, but they can and do have front/center/rear locking diffs.

The honda only has a locking centre diff. It detects slip and tries to prevent it by rotating both tyres at the same speed!! But IT CANNOT LOCK THE REAR DIFF!!

does the rear diff locks on the 09 pathfinder 4x4? or lsd or what? im looking for one, got an 03 honda pilot 4wd and the rear diff locks while using the locked 4wd mode, but i hate its got no LO tranny mode, hope u know
