  • Su voz y cultura, brilla tanto que me impresiona...Es dificil llevarle la velocidad a sus letras, por el manejo de los idiomas que tiene, pero resalta con su destreza los sentimientos de su interpretación... Le envío un abrazo.

  • Gracias a Ghost in the shell comencé a ponerle atención a esta cantante y gracias a ella, me fui adentrando en las canciones que no son "de escucha constante en México" y me ha abierto la percepción. Un abrazo estén del lado del mundo donde les toque y en especial a Origa.

  • I loved it 6 years ago...

  • so what laugage is this?

  • @Emilyaucoin

it has to be russian, right?

  • @9snaker idk but its still a really nice song

  • @Emilyaucoin

    yes, your right :-)

    i really appreciate that

but i really like, song 5 and 8 (i guess, i still have to listen to 6 and up, and the other albums too^^)

  • Origa IS a queen.

  • it's been a little while since i've gotten this technical with translating, but it is possible that she simply used the English word scorn into the prose. otherwise the word in italian is disprezzo, which might not have flowed as nicely. all in all it's talking about a 'rare beauty never seen on earth' and something about diminishing/overpowering the sun. it's hard to translate with so many mixed languages thrown about.

  • no but i love this song!!! it's one of my favorite songs from her

  • anyone know the translation?

  • "Rara beltà non mai più vista in terra, Che fea co'l suo apparir già scorn'al Sole."

The scorn'al is throwing myself, the dictionary and google translate off, but other than that, using a dictionary got something like:

"Her rare beauty, never again seen in the land. That already appears, with his faith, to dethrone the sun."

If anyone actually knowing Italian has a better semantic translation, please correct me.

  • @moo3heril

Good, the first sentence is ok, for the second maybe it's a little more "That with just appearence scorns the Sun"...

It's ancient form of Italian, though, not modern one, so google or a dictionary can be imprecise...btw, good work.
