  • High sch jam man!!!! ahhhhhhhh the memories

  • i always thought vernie looked like coko from swv in this clip

  • @Zeebo89 she dose good one LOL

  • Real Music..miss the 90s

  • The day before they charted i was working at the hotel they stayed at, the older sister, louise and kelly were absolutely wonderful the younger sister though what a total horrible cunt and thats putting it mildly.

  • @waster1976 Yawn. What did she do? Order room service? Are you Kelle or Eternal's ex manager by the way?

  • @1977UK no trust me me she was a totally rude cunt her sister was really nice. She bowled into a restuarant called aspects that had a no jean policy when she got booted out she whined even though she was warned the other 3 were really nice though,As for yawn if your that bored why comment?

  • @waster1976 Well if she pre-warned to wear jeans, how DARE she. How rude of her to complain . Guess that does make her a "cunt". She should have worn a short mini skirt and flashed her underwear.

  • @1977UK your last comment i totally second.Trust me though she was so rude the others jusr seemed really embarrassed by her.

  • wow this brings back awesome memories. Happy Days

  • Loved them!

  • 1 of the best girl bands to come out of the uk was eternal and the other is all saints!!! Girls these days just don't cut it!!!!

  • Osea que eran cuatro., al final solo quedaro dos, las dos hermanas.

    saludos

  • FIRST TIME I HEARD OF THE GROUP WHEN I WAS IN SPAIN ON THE WAY TO RUSSIA TO THE MIDDLE EAST. I LOVED LISTENING TO IT AT THE MALL DOWNTOWN SEVILLE, SPAIN. 1998

  • THIS SONG BRINGS BACK A LOT OF GOOD TIMES ! ;0)

  • Louise <3 <3 <3

  • @lippy170 why don't you just enjoy the music and shut the fuck up.. i bet you are called lippy cos your lip is as big as your vagina as big as Lisa Rhinna's second lip

  • cowbells4u. Eternal were not one hit wonders. There were around from 1993 to around 1999-2000 even though they changed their line-up when they got rid of Louise (then Nerding) Redknapp. They were the UK equivalent of Destiny's Child as the lead singer had an ego due to her singing ability (Okay Beyonce doesn't show it but it's there) Eternal self-destruct because they believed in their own hype and the public got fed up.

  • @adzmega Oh I dont think they got rid of louise, she just wanted to do her own thing..Maybe there was some drama or egos but she seemed to be doing very well on her own in the U.K!! atleast from what i see of her on youtube..Shes more a TV personallity now, and the other 3 girls just seemed to fall of the map!! And they may of been around since 93 i stand corrected, to me I never heard of them and Stay on the radio until spring of 94..so 94 is the beginning for me!!! Loiuse is Hot, fine!!!

  • does anybody knwo where i can get a clear version of this clip?

  • nice

  • These girls were british one hit wonders...I remember this being played on the radio alot during the spring of 1994, well here in the US that is..I have their CD which I bought in 1994!! I agree with the coment of these girls being better than Spice Girls!! Well hell yeah of course they were!!...Spice Girls were just over commercialized fakes!! This and Prince's most beautiful girl in the world were big hits at that time!!

  • L' une de mes meillerus chansons, celle-ci me rend tres nostalgique. Merci pour tout Eternal.....

  • ahh this is so early- mid 90's. It's like going in a time wrap. Good times : )

  • Melody and pure soul... where has that gone??

You won't find this from Girls Aloudor The Saturdays!

  • THESE ARE AWESOME!

  • Miss the old times.....

  • got rid of the white girl and still didnt break America.

  • @risteard01 You're an idiot. Louise was unhappy and wanted to go solo. They didn't 'get rid' of any white girl.

  • @missguyana1976 you don't know what went on in that group...

  • louise nerding the whitey was farrrrrrkiiiin hottt

  • 90's a great time

  • @marioTmaggot it is a remake of a song by Glenn Jones.

  • This is a remake of an 80's slow jam, but I can't remember the guys name who sung it. I like this version also.

  • Beautiful voices, beautiful song that is timeless. xxx

  • Always and forever! Man I haven't listened to Eternal for years! Happy days are upon us once again!

  • There is an error with the musical information for Chicago. The rock band "Hate Eternal" will be playing at Reggie's on July 5th.

  • Usually UK R&B is a poor immitation of American R&B. This song equals or surpasses anything an American R&B act can produce. The production of the record is slick and the video is excellent.

  • @ukmdt

glen jones the original artist, listen to him before you pass judgement

  • @ukmdt Spot on!

  • I didn't know who sang this song when it came out, but loved it so much that I actually sang it in the MIDDLE OF THE STORE trying to buy it :)

  • They are talented. But music industry needs more than just talents...

  • great song, but eh, makes me think of D12...haha eminem and the others.

  • Easther has a killer voice..miss them so much

  • oi, mr rednapp stop going ur shit football pundits, and make mrs rednapp happy nub, or i will. mrs nerding is so awesome.

  • The Spice Girls, Bananarama and Eternal were the best girl groups the UK ever had and I dont think any other of these new groups could ever come close to them. I say this because these were all girl groups who were successful internationally as well as in the UK.

  • where on earth did this group go??? OMG they were excellent!! miss em!! some of the girl groups need to take notes from this group!!!!

  • I love these girls can't get this off mah had:)

  • They say cheryl cole is so famouse due to her ''amazing natural looks'' when i've seen better looking women, who dont need veneers, a strict diet, personal trainer, boob job, tarty dresses, extensions and loads of makeup...so i'll ask u again...WHY IS SHE FAMOUSE!? There is no doubt that She has no talent and she is overrated when it comes to her looks and ''classy image''...she should still be sat at home in her council house with 5 kids and a cheating husband. National treasure haha!

  • @lippy170 what the fuck issue is going on with you? That is why your lame ass is on a computer...lol. Become the next star.

  • @lippy170 The only treasure id give cheryl cole is a golden shower and a pearl necklace!

  • @lippy170 Everyone in Hollywood or famous has had some sort of work done. There is no way u can look so gorgeous as those celebrities without a bit of work done. It's just so fake.

  • @MimiLovesMJ ehm the celebrities are not the prettiest girls AT ALL. I see prettier girls everyday.

  • @MimiLovesMJ That's a hasty generalization. There's a lot of Celebrities and Stars who haven't had work done and are naturally beauty, whether being A-List or Not. That's pretty much saying they're so beautiful it's unreal and saying common folk can't measure up to that "unreal" beauty, which is unreal because I know and have seen tons of regular folk who are very beautiful and gorgeous people.

  • Any girl bands better than girls aloud

  • This is very nice. I remember that there was an earlier version of this song. The singer was male. Anybody know who sung that version.

  • Now THIS is talent, true and raw talent, dont care about looks as much as voice. And people thinking lady gaga is talent, eternal are amazing

  • DAMN I MISS THE 90'S! Thank the good lord I got to live in an era of great music! Even if they played it into the ground, you don't hear jams like this anymore!

  • White chick is the hottest chick in the group

  • Remember when VH1 used to run this video into the ground??? I mean they played this song ALL THE TIME!!!!

  • old school uk r&b

  • Flashback to a point in time when attractive, but not drop-dead gorgeous girls could have success based on some photogenic talent combined with true powerhouse vocals. Wow. Now, as long as you have "the body" and "the face", the rest can be left up to autotune and million dollar song doctors.

  • @sbe79 i dont know any girlband where the girls have been drop dead gorgeous?? If u are reffering to girls aloud, then ur obviously deluded, because their all plastic overrated bints with no talent. Nadine has the most talent out of that group and yet cheryl cole has more fame for having zero talent. Its ludacris.

  • Love this song!! Great harmonies and great mix of pop/soul/R'nB.

  • effing brilliant!

  • I totally forgot about this song. Gives me feel good vibes.

  • shame jammie reddknap has millions cos id make louise so happy,

  • best song of the nineties i would go as far to say one of the best songs ever.

baby ill be true if only you will

    stay

2:59 harmonies blows my tiny mind

  • this was just a beautiful, beautiful song. Doesnt really have much to do with who sung it but they were great singers.

  • no louise no eternal what does her backing group do now

  • I never forgot about this song... I use to have their poster on my wall ... They are very beautiful

  • @netoya1

That they are! To this day, and I'm not ashamed to say it... I STILL have a crush on ALL of them! ♥♥♥♥

  • This was and still is a fantastic track and shows how there was black talent in the UK to rival the americans. Pity they needed louise as the face to attract the white market....they didnt need her...but hopefully the world will change one day

  • I loved this song!!! Why they where not as big if not bigger than the spice girls is beyond me. The sound so much better!!! I think I'll start this video again and get up and dance!!

  • This is a remake... & Im not sure who, but a guy made this song in the 80"s

  • I remember this being on VIDEO SOUL COUNTDOWN on BET when BET was really good.Ididn't know these girls were from the UK.ITS STILL 1 OF MY FAVORITE SONGS OF ALL TIME.WHERE EVER THEY ARE,I HOPE THEIR WELL,THANKS MILAGROZ.

  • Take any one of these girls, bung them in the Spice Girls, and they would be known as the 'pretty one'. :)

  • Eternal was a far better group than the Spice Girls.

  • @mrstimspeedle And the Spice Girls are much richer than this fly by night one hit wonder! LOL

  • This song has definitely held up well. I appreciate it more now than i did when it originally came out in '94. It has a "feel good" vibe to it, and that's what the early 90's epitomizes for me. This is a classic.

  • Great 90's track!

  • I always noticed only one girl could really sing....

  • arh happy memories

  • wow...their sound is similar to hip hop soul [ in fact it has the new jack variants ] very nice all round

  • @MC0090 yeah, this being released in 94 was the very commercial side of R&B since New Jack Swing was still fairly big and we had Puff Daddy Notorious BIG Mary J Blige etc with massive tunes at the time, so this track was not really in the clubs. But compared to today's crap this is a tune to die for.

  • @upkarsaimbi Ok ok makes sense now they're an excellent group.. Yeah I know

music now as no soul it's been so dumbed down... I can't tell you the

last time I listened to top 40... all I lsten to now is classic soul, hip hop,

jazz...I have over 700 CDs and I have not brought one in close

to a year....it's sad....those sisters remind me of time that's lost now I miss

    those days...thx for sharing:)

  • this sounds like something from dance dance revolution

  • This sounds better than the music that is out today.

  • @backonbothsides Prouring grit into a cement mixer makes better "music" than what's out today. Maybe the cement mixer can be called an artist too, as it at least is making it's own music, thumbs up.

  • @backonbothsides Prouring grit into a cement mixer makes better "music" than what's out today. Maybe the cement mixer can be called an artist too, as it at least is making it's own music, thumbs up.

  • Salt 'N Pepa, TLC and En Vogue are legendary R&B girl groups.

Eternal are good but they are not legends like them.

  • @boogs2007 Depends on your personal choice and what you have been exposed to. In the UK, Eternal had more hit singles and albums than those groups. Plus, Eternal's genre was pop slash R&B rather than pure R&B.

  • gat damn this video was the bombshell reminds me of high school

  • Where are they now ?

  • lead singer really has some strong vocals...

  • mos top girl group ever

  • love this song.

    love the 90s <3

  • i love this osng such a tunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnne

  • LOVE ETERNAL!!! Bring back UK R'n'B Girl Groups!! They should Reform like all these boy bands!

  • @Gefdaman Yea but apparently these girls haven't even spoke since they broke up.

Maybe we should start a campaign to force them to reform along with some of the other ill 90's rnb groups.

  • @skeletorphd .......NO let's not force them to reform!!! Let's just remember the great songs they made when they all got along and not when they are forced back together. If they are that stupid, selfish, etc. to break up then leave them wallow in their own filth!

  • finally a decent music of the 90's, nowadays, it's effing this and effing that, mutha effing you bleep bleep bleep

  • This was my jam back in the day.I like the hook and the way they used it..Hot track.........

  • I have been trying to find this MP3 everywhere, my sister had this cd and we would listen to it all the time, this song reminds me of summer, taking your radio player out on the porch and just chillin. I miss the 90's so much, the fashion takes me back. I had braids and wore overalls and flannel and baby doll dress w/ boots, and baby t's and crop tops.

  • Oh man i used to love off Eternal in the early 90's and this was my fave song! Ah the memories!

  • i love this song to deaf omg !

  • omg, i haven't heard this song since 1993! 1990s=best decade for music!

  • innovative techno dance colourful video?

  • oh my god! i so remember being at school when this was released. tune!

  • One of the most Credible Girl bands ever.

  • very nice song !

  • i like this song.. :)

  • damn you, those 90s slow jamz :)

  • OMG these girls piss all over the spice girls and girls aloud together, how talented are these, love them

  • @marcobtn

    Oh, how I do concur!

  • @marcobtn NOT SEEN THAT VIDEO!!!!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • @marcobtn Oh please. They had this one hit. Don't get ahead of yourself there.

  • if i remember these girls are pommy's

  • too bad they have so many split up and let girl-go....i loved them as four, three were okay but then only the sisters were the end

  • reminds me of primary school lol

  • omg what a souvenir!!!beautifull

  • The 90's music was the best!

  • @kianafaith 2nd only to 80's.. Also a big fan of 90's music, especially the new jack era, mid 90's olskool rnb, to the late 90's. It was faboloso. But I was born in the 80's and that era will always be number 1 to me. =)

  • for the life of me, i can't think of who sang the original version of this song back in the 80s and i can't find the answer on the internet anywhere, are there any 70s babies out there that remember the original artist of this song?

  • @vwnclubb It was Glenn Jones in 1990, according to Wikipedia.

  • @freakyjasonpowerslam wikipedia fucked that up, that was not the right version of stay that i was talking about. somebody out there has to know tho.

  • @vwnclubb Wikipedia screwing something up...? NEVER!

  • @vwnclubb you can get arrested if you post inaccurate information on wiki, so most likely Glenn Jones originated this

  • what do you mean about that the two only gril groups who are legendary are TLC and EnVogue. Not the girl group called Eternal sorry. That is why they broke up later on. That is why the grils group come and go during the 90's and today too.

  • @richlove404 Like their music or not, the Spice Girls SMOKE En Vogue and TLC.

  • @richlove404 Depends on where your coming from. In the UK the biggest girl groups of the 90s were the Spice Girls and Eternal.

  • Shame bout da video...

  • UK's answer to TLC.

  • I like this song, and the gays...:))

  • emma this is the song me and you did a dance to when we was younger!! lol

  • Of course. The era they produced music in was vastly different than it is today! Yesterday's music was so powerful! I love this music.

  • They look so nice. Not a trace of bitch face or "look at me I'm a slut" about them.

    I like it.

  • ..I always loved this song because not only was a good song but because of the lovely vocals of the lead...! I dont know what it is, but soul vocals from London/UK are always rich in harmony..! I.E. Jane Eugene of Loose Ends and Karen Wheeler of Soul II Soul...!

  • Eternal MIGHT be coming back. Vernie Bennett done her first photo shoot in 10 years last week and has just set up a Twitter page. There is also an official Eternal page set up too. Eternaluk. Watch this space...

  • love it!

    ETERNAMENTE TUYA, LU

    I LOVE YOU,SO MUCH

    KISSESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS,Bb

  • beautiful!!!!

  • i miss louise

  • Most of Eternal's singles have excellent opening which I think grab the listener. Stay with the massive STAAAAY at the beginning. Just A Step From Heaven with the DJ-esque mixing of the sound between the left and right (when you listen with speakers you will know what I mean) and Crazy with the 1 2 3 4 and saxaophone - Always reminds me of the intro to the Cosby Show for some reason.

  • Remember my teens when I hear this. They were a fantastic girlband..., and could actually sing, not like the rubbish bimbo girl bands now.

Love them, sorely miss their music.

  • damn - this takes me back!

  • Louise and Kelly were so sexy at the time and still are but I loved them offf when I was 7 watching them!! Looool

  • stay with me...90 nice songs better than today

  • i have to say jamie redknapp is one lucky guy being married to louise nurding. she was a massive crush on me when eternal were out.

  • this song takes me right back.. ahh memories, still one of my favourit songs.

  • I Used to Love This Song!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she is still one of thehottest women onthe planet me thinks

  • @Replicators etc

Is that 'hottest' or 'hotenttist' women? LOL

  • @Replicators

They were all super hot , my 2 favourite were Kellé Bryan ( she still look exactly like she did in the vid ) and Luiz Redknappe

  • This song got me through 11th grade....good times, bad boyfriend!!!

  • I LOVE THA

    HELL OUTTA

    This Song

  • This shit was the soundtrack of my 90's. I loved this girl band so much it was disturbing. Much love <3 :D

  • Love It - True 90's Track

  • WHICH ONE OF 'EM MARRIED A bBYZONE SINGER?

  • Easther the lead singer was married to Shane Lynch for a short while

  • I love Louise Redknapp, I;m 32, and I still love her, sorry Jamie, but I love you too, for everything you've done for my beloved club - YNWA
