You should make a part II with the coloured eggs. (I'm sure that you had that in mind but...) I've re-watched it twice, it's really great. There's something about "hand-crafted" things that amaze me. Great video!

Hehehehehe! LOL! Initially, I had planned on shooting the process from start 2 finish, but I actually had to go to Melbourne so I was not home for Easter...Maybe next year...Who would have thought there would be so many different ways to shoot eggs?

JF is the man!!! Thank you for watching, nice of you. For Easter we decorate raw eggs with hot wax. One day before Easter we boil them in dye [all sorts of pretty colours]. The wax falls off in the dye leaving beautiful white streaks where the dye once was.
That's my mum decorating the egg. She made the calligraphy "pen" type thing herself a few years ago. She's pretty funky like that.
