@teedough1 You failed to mention that in 5/6 of those games, Peterson had fewer then 15 carries. Johnson has had 3 games of under 40 yards, and 2/3 of them he had fewer then 15 carries. Johnson's stats are great for fantasy football/ESPN, but misleading for his team's success. He relies too heavily on big runs, and doesn't always get consistent yardage. First game of the season is a prime example. Looks great on the stats sheet, but take away the 76 yard run, and he had 26 carries for 66 yards.

IDK... everyone is is battling with AP and CJ. there totally different styles. why run around them when you can run through em. why run through em when tyou can run around them. idk about you. but im bummbed their not on my team. thats all i gotta say. oh.. when it comes to lasting. @xav921 bush isnt even in the conversation, hes a return specialist with below average running back skills, only reason he owned at usc is bcause he has amazing speed and agility.....but you cant outrun every one in the NFL like he did then. he has to have open space to be effective at all.

@ishaggyou A complete back can run, receive, block, and contribute. Chris Johnson is a better runner, receiver, and surprisingly if you watch film, he's a better blocker. A bunch of Viking fan boys are going to jump on me for that, but it's the truth. Watch both of them block. They equally contribute to their teams.

@teedough1 You failed to mention that in 5/6 of those games, Peterson had fewer then 15 carries. Johnson has had 3 games of under 40 yards, and 2/3 of them he had fewer then 15 carries. Johnson's stats are great for fantasy football/ESPN, but misleading for his team's success. He relies too heavily on big runs, and doesn't always get consistent yardage. First game of the season is a prime example. Looks great on the stats sheet, but take away the 76 yard run, and he had 26 carries for 66 yards.

@ishaggyou Peterson sure has been doing a good job holding onto the football THIS year at least. Still has the speed and power he had too. I'd like to see the Vikings hand the ball to him a bit more often though, Favre just isn't working out this time.
