@BurtonBluntRider - Car put down 289 to the wheels before the off-road h-pipe. About expected for CAI/tune/UDP Auto.

@kelvin3315 - get that 60' down. With the 4.10s and the tune, a 1.9 is actually getting out pretty well if your on street tires. DRs would GREATLY help get you out of the hole being a manual. Also, check your slip and try to see where you may be losing time. What's your MPH at the top of the track? 1/8 time?

Question for the driver: How much of a difference do you think the 4.10s made on both the drag strip and mpg??

@Heezy2090 The 4.10s didn't hurt my mpg much but REALLY helped on the drag strip. They made it so I needed DRs for the track though because 1st and 2nd became quite useless unless I really babied it until 3rd gear. Worth every penny but make sure you get them done at a reputable shop...i had issues with the shop that installed mine. The only thing on the car I've paid someone to do was the gears and it was a nightmare dealing with them.

I have an '08 gt with:

bbk shorty headers

off road x and muffler delete pipes

hurst short throw shifter

bbk CAI and Bama 93 tune

steeda UDP

and 4.10 gears

So alot like yours and i go out to San Antonio Raceway

and the best ive got in a 1/4 is 13.1 with 1.9 in the 60ft countless times.

any tips or ideas how to improve?! thanks!

@stangr07 I love douchebags that automatically shit on imports for sounding the way they sound. I have a Mustang GT, and have owned several imports. The mustang is the slowest car I have owned by a longshot. The Subaru I just sold was a 10 sec car. I would bet my life 90% of you shit talkers couldnt break out of the 13s without slicks.

That said, I FUCKING LOVE my Mustang. Seriously, fucking great car. Slow as fuck, but I love it. Pile of mods are on the way though :)

Hey man I installed the steeda underdrive pulleys and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Good Buy! No problems with the HID lights at all.
