They should have stayed with this idea, not that many people have online access (or is having online issues). Plus the whole online subscriptions is an option that'll die out due to hackers, other non-subscription websites, etc....
Plus, it's better off with this idea instead of the online. With the disks, there's no real point in going online to search for these comics.
I agree. They do have some Archie and MAD magazine discs that are like this one in the video, but with Marvel's new subscription plan, I think DC would probably lean toward that =(
thats friggin awesome i never knew this existed. i've never use my PC for anything other than the basics. i wish they still had this i would grab a few of them. good stuff treasurefan
I just checked on amazon, and they still have them available, but at the 50 dollar rate (although that's not too bad considering it comes out to .10 cents a comic, lol).
I can understand them wanting to get more money for their creations, but it sucks paying for their plan and you don't even get to keep the comics (your renting essentially >=(
I bet in the future everyone will see what a waste online subscriptions are. Sure, you can look at all the marvel comics out there but it's impossible to do it all in one month. I would pay more for everything on DVD but oh well. I still have plenty of comics in my boxes but I never read them.
Thanks, this got me wanting to start reading comics.

Hello Zyphirr,
Cool! These are great ways to get a ton of comics at a low price. Hopefully they continue with these dvd's in the future.

I remember these. They are great but too bad about the online stuff. I guess they wanted to make more money than sell them only one time.
