What you are talking about are AVIONICS updates. The LAST american F-15Cs were built in 1985!!! The production run of F-15Cs is 1979–1985. Also the problem of the longerons is structural and is irrepairable since the longerons are the integral component of the fuselage - there has been internal strengthening but its not enough.
And yes, the radar has been completely replaced with a much better one, but the AIRFRAMES are the same! The only USAF F-15s that are younger are F-15Es

@hotpocketpoison seems obvious that tupolev actually used a different design than rockwell. otherwise, the b-1 would have the same performance figures as the tu-160--which it doesn't. since there is only a single most efficient design for a given mission, the planes look similar. reference how similar the a320 family looks to the boeing 737s or the similarities between the a330s and 777s. even the b-52 and the tu-95 look decently similar and have essentially the same mission.

@qunniq eh"crappier mig-31" all a mig 31 is,is a flying radar and missile storage/launcher system. Its a good idea and a good system. The idea is similar to the us usage of "old" B-52's. I belive the mig-31,s have had an avionics upgrade recently.....still has a very powerful radar.

obviouslu russia murdered a lot. but you did as well. how about hiroshima??i dont know why would they exaggerates their aircrafts. i dont know why wouldnt you as well. intelligence agencies said there were wmd in iraq?? maybe. so what?? they wanted to help usa. simple. they also say 9 11 is legit.

There were WMDs there and some were found. If you wanted to you can find out what and how much.This is fact. Russia exaggerated the performance of its aircraft & other weapons to keep the Western nation at baye.Your comment on iroshima is short sighted .We did not murder anyone .We killed them, what would you have done to stop Japan?Read so world history before you go throwing stones at the US.

i know history, i know japan was a hell of an opponent. but nuclear weapon kills only civilians. not soldiers. you drop it on the city full of childrean and women. we can argue forever about this one. you were semi right to do it. but dont throw stones at other countries when you are not that good at all neither. this is my point. you brag everywhere and bash everyone but youre not any better. cant you just watch the movie?? you have to say its a junk ?? why not simply say " nice plane" ??
