So, these scientists are not open to other opinions? They think that science needs the protection of state laws? Why do these guys insist that creationism & Darwinism cannot co-exist? They can, and for many of us, they do. I agree wholeheartedly with evolution, but also agree that at the beginning, God created the universe and endowed it with the laws of nature.
@PuterPrsn Well, these scientists are only protesting government teaching things like God created the giraffe, the ant, the human, the t-rex, not the universe. (biology, not cosmology)
Anyhow, I totally side with you. It's unavoidable parents will give kids stupid information and advise. But kids do become adults, and will at their pace, be challenged by other sources. This elitist disrespect for parental authority will only backfire, and create mistrust in science.
Atheism loves to bend science to fit its theories. Law of Biogenesis? Cause and Effect?

@PuterPrsn That is not the form of creationism they talked about. Go look up what young-earth creationism is about.
