Kevin is extremely cool. He was helping instruct during one of Beecher's sparring days at Tapout and was very, very, helpful. Kevin Ross is very easy to root for.
I don't like this ref. He called one of my fights to early. I had 5 seconds left to go in the last round. and I was ahead on the cards. and i dropped my hands. and then stopped it because He said i wasn't responding when i was answering his questions. BS reff.
Kevin is such a top bloke, he doesnt even know me and he responded to one of my emails and really helped me with my mindset towards Muay Thai and life as a whole. He is an awesome fighter too.
Ive seen Kevin trained at MT's gym... hes good... if u want to see him fight good just have him against a good fighter... the fight was over b4 he got heated up... the guy lost becuz of the knees he tooked earlier from the fight... he lost a lot of air
"its not muay thai without elbows & knees to the head"
true but i can garutee that thsi guy started out fighting modified rules because that is the way its done in the states and europe, you have to work your way up to this level. basicaly the only place in the world where you start fighting full that rules is THAILAND ! and they are doing it by the time they are 8 or 9
I love Master Toddy but that was no flying knee. Like the man before me said, that was a flying groin. The other guy gave up. Their technique and power was OK, nothing special, albeit they were tired.
yeah, i watched the it back a few times and the knew went nowhere near his face...only reason he fell was because of the weight he put on him. although he might have caught him in the stomach and knocked the wind out or something...couldnt really see from the angle
That was better than most fights I've seen. But they were right, Muay Thai does usually suck in America. I would love to see a Thailand broadcasted Muay Thai fight. That's where it originated that's probably where the competition would be the best.
No. It wasn't a good fight. Well, maybe by American standards. They moved like they were slowdancing. There was no power behind their punches. Combinations seem to be unfamiliar to them. What class was this fight supposed to be in anyway? Or was this a non sanctioned one? Ross wants to test himself? Have him take on Mejiro gym fighters or Vos gym. They'll give him a run for his money.
how are u gonna say americans suck in muay thai, when u can't even speak proper english, this was a very good fight, i was there. and i know Kevin Ross, he kicked the hell outta Aldea
