  • Is there any chance you could send me the simple version of the music?

    Good performance

  • Je moet bij het theater.Glaasje op?

Tempo zo nu en dan goed.lachen met jou.

  • @Weffe52 Fijn!

  • u should make a new version, it would be good!

  • sibeliusmusic

  • where did you find the music for that??

  • Redelijk goed, maar de Piano met wel gestemd worden, sorry voor deze reactie

  • Well playing. Just lay off the pedal. It's not as bad as you or others believe.

    I have heard WORSE.

  • Sorry if you got this comment twice....I seemed to lose the first one....I really enjoyed listening to this....Well done and thank you very much......I ignored the negative comments below....why does something have to be perfect to be enjoyed? I shall listen to this again....it is on my list of favourites....have you got anything else posted that I can listen to? Jozz....England.

  • your finger technique is pretty good, just lay off the pedal. And I hope you've spent €60 on having the joanna tuned since 3 years ago?

  • @egotistic1

Yeah well, thanks... Joanna? What's that?

    And tuning costs round 40...

  • Your piano does not sound very good, but the playing is not AWFUL as some would have you believe!

  • I know it does sound bad, but I also know my capabilities and I'm 19 know, so I'm almost 3 years older than back then.

And unfortunately, I also know how expensive (read: cheap) my piano was... ^^

  • you did it very well :D

  • dankjewel

  • I think you were reading this for the first time, I don't think you are amateur cause this piece needs fingering for its playing so... the only wrong thing I see (apart of not studing it) its pedale, you press it for long time since in this kind of music the best ting is a pedale by time not by measure.

Good luck you are a good music reader.

  • Thank you. :D

  • Good for an amateur, I would love to see a reposted video of this with it polished up. I wish you all the best in your musical journey

  • Well, that was two years ago and I didn't really have time to practise this piece so..

Not regarding the fact that I don't know where the score is!

  • I don't know much about music, but i think is a good play for an amateur.

  • I don't know much about amateurs, but i think I'll thank you for your comment. ;)

  • heaps good

  • keep practising

  • thnx

  • i know part of it is that instrument..you should post one more time though dude

  • I have a vid of handel, you might want to watch that... If you'll like that is another question haha.

Furthermore.. I don't have a lot of time, so I will see wenn I can post again.

    Thnx.

  • Very good 5 stars.

  • Way to much if you ask me

  • hey..great effort! sounds good.

where can i get this music from?

  • Get your foot off of the pedal! This is not the Indy 500!

  • tell me something i dont know

  • horrible. para esto no cuelgues el video. Handel lloraria de escuchar esto

  • a few wrong notes a very brave piece to post well done I gave it 4 stars for effort

  • Thank you I guess:P?

  • thing is not to get disheartened, u got the basics of a fine piano talent here, its not the mistakes u make that make u the person ur, its what u do about it, peace health happiness good luck n greetings from Ireland

  • Bravo

  • on the sheet music it says, not legato.

good though, but it doesn't need the sustain pedal.

it would be nice to hear without the pedal, because i am looking for a piano version, yet this is the only one.

  • as with the presure, just play it a little slower. or alternitavely, play in socks, and learn to control the pedal with the big toe, and learn to take the pedal on and off just enough to make it work. and pianists make the mistake as to put it to the floor. and take it off at the end of each tiny little phrase as it gets muddled.

i am not being rude or nasty just some tips 2 improve your performance.

  • dude, I know how to use the pedal.

  • find the quatre mains version.

    It's onderful!

  • fa dare un accordata a quel pianoforte

  • I loved this, well done, it is beautiful :)

  • TY kindly

  • sweet :P

  • Your performance just needs some work. The sustaining should not be used for pieces written before the 1780's.

  • Well. This was a quick piece, and my pressure on my pianokeys are quite hard. So the sustain pedal is just for reducing the pressure.

    Nothing more than that. :)

  • You are probably accustomed to elecronic keyboards, which usually have a light touch. This could be compared to an organist accustomed to an electric action playing an organ with a tracker action.

  • well...

    I never played the keyboards...

it's just a very bad piano...

  • I think it needs alot of practice. You should never perform a peice fully until yo've got it all down, tempo notes etc. I've learned that from experience. I think that if you practice this enough, you will get it good.

  • Play something easier. Work up to this. I'd rather listen to a well-played version of 'Three Blind Mice' than this mess.

My teacher would kick me out the door if I started banging away like this with no regard to tempo or note accuracy. If you can't play it well fast, it's no crime to slow it down. And as per the other comments, lose the pedal. It might sound better to you but honestly, it's not. It's awful.

Please take this criticism as constructive.

  • Yes, I totally agree. Who doesn't like constructuve criticism. ^^

But you're telling me something I already know. I just simply adore this song, prefering orchestra ofcourse.

I played this song quatre-mains with my teacher a long time ago. Ten years later I found this score on the Godblessed internet for deux-mains. I was so happy about it and after printing, I kinda recorded it immediately... without practising... and this is the result!

A well-watched vid with lots and lots of criticism.

  • I think that you are retarded, because you think that you can simply play a piece like this with many wrong notes, and abusing your sustain pedal just because you are immature and you have no taste.

People play the piano to make wonderful music, and it is fine if you make mistakes, but being unmusical AND uploading it to youtube to show everyone "talent" is quite wrong. Listen to 2:20 if you have a problem with what I say. I'm saying this because of your attitude in responding to comments.

  • like... who cares... omgosh NAGG

  • U are a shame to Handel

  • This is terrible loads of wrong notes!

  • right...

    clever noticed

  • its ament to be a duet

  • its ament to be played by an orchestra....

    wijsneus

  • i mean the piano version, not the proper, oroginal,or the full orcistra version

  • why should it be quatremains? There are atleast 9 versions for the piano of this piece and this is obvious the deuxmains version...

    anyone can hear it...

    exept for you...

  • Is your foot stuck on the pedal LOL :D

  • yeah.. broken ankle....

  • At least you know it's broken, some people continue to use it even if it's broken, or maybe they even refuse to fix it, or they are so ignorant when everyone else tell them it's broken they say something smartass like , I just like to wear a cast for the fun of it. Well, at least it just your ankle, at least the pedal is not broken.

  • I think you have real potential to play this piece really well. Get practising, and I'll look forward to hearing the next, more polished performance.

    All the best :)

  • Yes..

I promissed you a year ago.

    And I haven't done anything! :P

maybe when I have time, I will practise and upload ^^

btw.. that broken ankle was a joke ¬¬

  • You are allowed to take your foot off the pedal you know! :p lol

  • I had a broken ankle...

  • What the HELL is going on with the pedal?!

  • nothing...

    it's doing fine.

I just like playing with the pedal :P

  • btw. I do too. but only because my keyboard doesnt nold notes as long as a real piano.

  • well, buy a piano then :P.

I know I should practise. But I haven't got a teacher anymore and neither do I have the patience:P.

Really, I juse play for fun.

  • HEY! What's up with the wavy pedaling? or does the piano have a default pedal? hahahaah!

  • hmmm... you may have only been 'trying out your new camera', but there was still no need upload it to youtube! Too many mistakes due to lack of practice! Amateurs and novices can still give polished performances. Put a lot more work in before you put another version on youtube; either that or downgrade to an easier piece. And I agree with the rest of the comments - lose the sustain pedal completely.

  • It has absolutely no place in quick-tempo baroque pieces, and anyway you haven't learned to use it properly. but you'll need to do some finger exercises so the passages sound even. It's harder work, but you'll become a much more proficient player in the end.

  • thanx for the honest reactions.

I want to learn and practise more... but I'm studying now, so I don't have time to take lessons or to practise Etudes.

However, I think I'll keep uploading vids on youtube.

If you don't like it, just don't watch it...

  • this will not load????

  • how long have you been learning the piano?

  • Hey, that song sounded good, although I can hear a lot of wrong notes, and tempo, but otherwise it was good.

The peddle was used far too much...

Where did you get the sheet music for piano, i've been looking for it but can't find it.

  • great work. don't abuse the sustain pedal and it will be better

  • hehe. I will make an other vid without the pedal. But I presume it will be a lot slower because the keys will have more presure without my beloved pedal. whaha

  • this is a tough song.. i'm just learning it.. and i understand how you feel.. this is still great.. maybe work on it a bit more.. and it'll be perfect.. thanks for posting it

  • too much pedal, otherwise a great arrangement

  • The one thing you need to work in is to stay the same tempo; other than that you did great! I havne't mastered it all the yet, but then I haven't tried that much. :) Great playing though! And that piano does have a pretty good sounds.

    Great Job!

  • If it's true that this piece requires four hands, then you've done terrifically. Don't use the pedal so excessively and you have a perfect piece - almost ;). Nice piano btw.

  • It's true... there were many notes that I didn't play. Simply because of the quick tempo. Yes... It's a good piano. But not the best. The exterior is nice but the tone is alright... The pressure is high and the pedal makes the pressure less sothat I can play is faster... That'll explain my use of pedal wich I dont like either .

    TY

  • I know how you feel :s.

I find it quite hard to play fast pieces due to the pressure of the piano.

Nicely played though - keep up the good work.

  • Good job for an amateur. My only thing would be step off the sustain pedal lol. Thanks for posting!

  • Nice!

  • He is very nice!!

  • ty ^^

  • Heh heh!
