i'm a laker fan and i think rondo is the best point guard in the game ,even though he has to get better on offense (shooting,ft) he affects the game with his passing and that with no need of a pick (most of the times)
I noticed something.... Rondo really doesn't rely on his jumper b/c of his teammates. He's a playmaker but when there's little time on the shotclock, and the ball is in his hands, he takes a jumpshot. 90% of the time, it goes in. It never fails. It depends on what your perspective of a pure PG is..If we're talking in terms of being able to beat anyone off the dribble, defend, and be able to score/make plays and offensively/defensively make your team excel. I'd give it to D-Will being the best PG, then next to CP3, Rose, Rondo, and then Nash. The thing about Rose is.. he's really offensively, as a shooting guard, as a pure PG not many top plays are executed, but because he's fast, can score easily. No hate to D-Rose though.
I'm not hating on Rose if that is what you're insinuating. What I'm saying is, Rose isn't really a pure point guard. Nash/Rondo/D-Will are what you call the pure point guards. Being able to drive, make plays, and be unselfish. As for people who hate on Rondo, people tend to forget Rondo can drive and make those tear drops, even if his shooting is terrible. But still he'd make plays regardless, and be unselfish. Rose is definitely top 5 pointguards as of now.

His jumper looks better because this isn't game speed. These are just warm-up jumpers any NBA guard should knock these down easy. Not trying to knock Rondo he's one of my favorite PGs but dude can't shoot that well.

It depends on what your perspective of a pure PG is..If we're talking in terms of being able to beat anyone off the dribble, defend, and be able to score/make plays and offensively/defensively make your team excel. I'd give it to D-Will being the best PG, then next to CP3, Rose, Rondo, and then Nash. The thing about Rose is.. he's really offensively, as a shooting guard, as a pure PG not many top plays are executed, but because he's fast, can score easily. No hate to D-Rose though.

I'm not hating on Rose if that is what you're insinuating. What I'm saying is, Rose isn't really a pure point guard. Nash/Rondo/D-Will are what you call the pure point guards. Being able to drive, make plays, and be unselfish. As for people who hate on Rondo, people tend to forget Rondo can drive and make those tear drops, even if his shooting is terrible. But still he'd make plays regardless, and be unselfish. Rose is definitely top 5 pointguards as of now.

Rajon will have a break out year bringing his game to another level loosing him in the playoffs was pretty much the end of our run i knew that when he first went down and it sucked.
