  • Great sounding v6

  • Check out my set of magnaflows, u will be surprised on how awsome they sound & they have noticable hp gains

  • Wow.. thats the best sounding V6 idle I have ever heard.

  • whats the part number for those mufflers and are they loud and deep sounding?

  • And oh yeah. I would love you to death if you could put up a drive by of this set up and some higher revs.

  • My local shop quoted me at about 500 for a custom H pipe and a second muffler. Did you purchase the mac mufflers through your shop? I love the sound. I've still got a single but the brand of muffler I have sounds like it's developing a buzz :/

  • I got a question, I bought this 05 mustang v6 and it came with dual exhaust but the mufflers are like straw pipes lol and I want to get a decent exhaust. I dont know what kind of exhaust I need to buy. a gt exhaust?for the dual. idk I need help thx

  • @uragonako88 There are two parts you will need. You will need a mid-pipe which makes your exhaust dual, and mufflers. The main options for midpipe are straight pipes, prochamber, x-pipe, or h-pipe. On a v6, I would reccomend H-pipe or prochamber if you can find one. The x pipe is only beneficial if you have at least 300-350hp. For mufflers there are two main styles out there...straight through and chambered. These are chambered mufflers and the Corsa mufflers are straight through.

  • I have the same exact Mustang, but I just did an X pipe instead with Flowmaster 40s and 4 inch flat tips..

  • I just got mine dualed out

    spent 300 bucks TOTAL!

    found aGREAT custom muffler shop!

    those look sick bro :D

  • @Pyrothos666 what mufflers did you get how much did each thing cost? install? mufflers?

  • @Mar093 i got two glass pack mufflers (60 a piece,) 100 for pipe work and 20 for the tips

  • @Pyrothos666 nice.. $20 for both tips where'd you get them

  • @Mar093 Jr custom muffler, they said it was 20 for the tips

i love the look of em too

now given the glass packs dont sound THE best

but for increased airflow i can definatly tell the difference in performance

  • absolutely loving the sound......

  • @devinetranquility Thanks man.

  • so u spent about 500 total or 500 for labor?

  • @IFreakingEatPeople 500 for parts and labor but it was done at a local exhaust shop.

  • riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

  • Hey what did you do for the rear bumper because the v6 comes with one exhaust port in the bumper , and i want to duel my v6 but i dont want to but a new bumper with the 2 ports and have to get it painted

  • @2nateb2 You can look up a template for it and cut it out yourself I heard its pretty easy but I'm just gonna have an exhaust shop cut mine out for the corsa's :p

  • it sounds good till you rev it

  • Damn that sounds really good! I have the same car and color. I went to a local muffler shop and had flowmasters 44 series true duals put on for $530. Check my video and tell me what you think. I also put on a bbk cai and twenty inch American racing wheels.

  • where did u get your set up that it only costed you 300 dollars? did u buy the cat back system then get the H pipe put in?

  • @syurko254 It was not a catback system. I bought the mufflers online for about $300, and had a local custom exhaust shop fabricate me a h pipe then the rest of the piping back to the muffler. The entire setup was not $300 it was more around $500.

  • @MustangMo210 funny story about when i had tried to get a shop to do the duals on my old 4.0, this was a 500 buck pypes conversion kit which all it needed was a cut and clamp.....they said 385 for labor only......so i did it myself, but yeah, felt the need to share that, meineke is the worst auto shop to date people

  • about how much did this cost to do?

  • Mufflers=$300

    Custom H-Pipe+Labor=Around $150.

Some places charge more for the mid pipes and labor but on average about $500.

  • nice!! mine is the same color! except i have an Pypes X-Pipe And Dual GT Takeoffs.

  • your set up is a lot like mine but without the h-pipe

  • That's a perfect mustang!

  • Those rims are nice what kind are they

  • These are the 18 inch bullitt rims from a 2005-2009 mustang GT. They are a very close fit though so you might have to grind down the outside of the factory brake caliper just a bit. If you dont want to do that just upgrade to GT brakes.

  • how did you cut the bumper for the other exhaust pipe.

  • I didnt the shop did. It is very easy to cut though.

  • Everyone check out my new video of my Corsas...

  • Thanks. I'll send you a pic when it is done.

  • Thanks. When you say two holes, you had them open up the original one also?

  • Im not shure. It might depend on the size of the muffler tips.

  • Hey man, great sound!! How did you modify the bumper cover for the other exhuast? Thanks.

  • I just had the exhaust shop cut out 2 holes on the stock V6 bumper. You could probably do it yourself though.

  • So, do you notice a big difference with the dual exhaust conversion?

  • Yea it changes the whole car. It makes the exhaust not alot louder and deeper. My camera didnt do the best job picking up the sound so it sounded better in real life.

  • is this stock?

  • Engine yes. Exhaust and rims no.

  • hey do you still have your cats?

  • Yes. I would not take the cats of a mustang v6. It may sound sweet at idle, but the sound when cruising and accererating is terrible. If your car is turbocharged that is a different story.

  • high flow cats are better than stock cats, more hp I believe....your exhaust set up is making me want to go with mac

  • If you want to buy my MAC muflers I will give you a good price on them because they need to be welded on. The MACS sound amazing especially at idle but they had some exhaust drone. I got some Corsa DB Black mufflers and have them custom welded in with tips and they sound great but have no exhaust drone. I will put up a video of the corsas soon.

  • lookin' forward to the video...I've seen corsa's on the 4.0's before they sound good. Just orded myself a sing mac axle back for my car

  • Thats' the best sounding V6 Mustang I've ever heard! Until you reved it up I thought you made a mistake and wrote V6 instead of V8. Because it sure sounded like a GT when it was idling. Nice!

  • Thanks. It sounds even deeper if your directly behind the car. Unfortinately the Drone is bad with the low exhaust note... Im thinking about switching to corsa db blacks because there just as good sounding without the drone.

  • nice! my mom just bought a 2009 mustang v6 it looks awesome!!! check it out on my page

  • Sounds Awesome man, almost as good as mine, LOL. I have the same setup on my 07 4.0L but except the H pipe, still have my Y that the Mac kit came with

  • hey, how did u make ur tailights like that, where only the midle light bar shows up?

  • I dont know...All i know is my left turn signal is alot faster than my right.

  • the far left bulb is dead.

thats why it goes faster and why its out

  • Yup that was it. Got it fixed about a week ago...

  • orgasmic dude!

  • sounds good. those mac's are really deep sounding at idle

  • nice

  • how much did it cost u to replace ecerything there?

  • $300 for mufflers, and $250 for Custom H-Pipe, Overaxle pipes and Labor.

  • because i whent to ford and they told me that they would do that for $999.

should i take it to them?

  • That is way too much. The ford racing dual exhaust kit is $600. You can get it custom done for around $500 at an exhaust shop.

  • so $600 + $500 = $999.99

  • No I ment that was two different options...

If you want it to sound like mine then it is about $250 for custom H-pipe and to get the bumper trimmed. Its around $300 for the mac mufflers. Total price=$550.

  • ihh,,LOL im an idiot :)

  • never go to dealerships, they rip you off, $600 just to replace all four pads and a broken horn? BULLSHIT, don't get me wrong i love ford, but the gov. is fuckin shit up for us big time

  • one of the best sounding six cylinders on you tube, i plan on getting mac long tubes to mac prochamber h pipe to mac duals

  • Thanks! That setup sounds good. Put a video up when you get it. Ill get a better video of my exhaust soon with some more action.

  • it should be in a year or to, my dad just bought his 08' v6 pony package back in september and isn't giving it to me till i get out of college

  • Dude that sounds sick...nicely done.

  • wat kind of H pipe is it? is it stock GT H pipe?

  • I got it custom made at an exhaust shop. You can use a GT H-Pipe if you want.

  • sounds nice bro. im think i might take ur advice on getting flowmasters. but this mac sounds bruttle.

  • Thanks! Yea the Macs sound mean with a H-Pipe.

  • i really like it man good job, mac mufflers sound good with V6 stangs, and jw dude u wrote it gave you 5 extra HP and i dont doubt it but i was jw if you can feel in while driving? any way good vid

    peace Rich

  • thanks, and yea I dont know if 5HP is right, but it definately gained some.

  • Not so bad for a V6. nice work.

  • Digital camera didnt get the full sound effect. Headphones help the sound out a bit.
