my GF got this laptop. i did think it was the 9600gs version but got the 9300gs. thats not amazing but she only needs to play the sims3 and thats a step up from the 7300go she was using. but she has bluray and all that with it. nice laptop

how can i use msn on this computer? it dont work ive tryed to uninstall remove it from my computer and install it again but it says you already got a newer version of the msn your trying to install please remove it before installing this one and there is no other msn on my computer im wondering if i should give it to someone who are good with computer do u think thats a good idea?

hi can anyone help. i bought a 6930g (geforce 9300m graphics, 3gb ram) and tried to hook it up to my telly using both a hdmi cable and a vga cable. neither worked, even when i changed screen res to 1024x786. any thoughts? thanks

thats almost worked perfectly thanks, just one thing, occasionally my cursor will swap to the tv, how do i swap it back?

I think that u can have extended display and cloned. When it's on extended u just go trough the edge (vertical one) to another display, when it's on cloned u have mouse on both displays. I'm speculating :)

lol now i cant get anything onto screen 2. fn+f5 doesnt seem to work now and all screen 2 display is my desktop wallpaper, not even any icons!! what ur thoughts now, u have been a godsend so far

go to nVidia control panel -> Display -> Setup multiple displays. From there set ur laptop display as primary, and TV as secondary.

Mine didn't come with HDMI but it has an vga out can I get a vga to component cable for my 720p tv? will it work without fuckin anything up? both computer and tv are 1366 x 768 so it should work right? also what song is this on your vid? I know were I heard this song before now, Need for speed. anyway no my tv doesn't have vga it has hdmi, component, and svid. its a cheap 720p Emerson but its good tv. O and through out the day I asked other people about the vga to component and they said it will work cause there both the same res. thanks anyway.

i have a 6930G to but with other specs : cpu : inter core 2 duo T5800 (2.0ghz, 800mhz FSB,2mb lv2 cashe) HDD : 640gb (2x320gb) ram : 4gb ddr2 (2x2gb) graphics : Nvidia 9300M GS 256mb (up to 1535mb) turbo cashe. and vista 32bits. But its a very fast laptop to and you can play games on it to :)

yes you van play them on it. i can play games like oblivion and i even did crysis on low so it can handle almost every game
