@Amarusama no it's the same as texas holdem, you have to make the best hand of 5 cards, with 3 from the board and 2 in your hands... except that in omaha you have 4 cards in your hand. so you have more "options" in a way.

@Amarusama You can only use 2 Cards... and you HAVE to use 3 from the community cards... So both players were using their KJ - 9-10-J-Q-K for a straight... Ziggy had 2 spades though, and 2 on the flop - so he could of hit a flush... but if a K had hit - he would of won with a higher straight...10-J-Q-K-A.

Golden rule, you can only use 2 of you 4 cards Maximum and Minimum. 3 Cards HAVE to be used from the centre every hand.

the equity you have is against your opponents hand range. If you have AK and you're playing against a range of 88-AA,AJ+ and you have AK you have less than 49% equity so maybe you don't want to go all in...
