We Catholics do NOT worship Mary! We venerate her! There IS a difference between venerate and worship. We worship ONLY God!! Please get that straight.

amazing how the first century church was all about Jesus. Can any of you Catholics point me to passage in Acts where Mary is exalted? What about Paul's letters? And was Mary sinless? Mary does say (in John 2) to do whatever He (Jesus) says. And Jesus says you must be born again. He says that He is the way, the truth and the life -no one comes to the Father except by Him. Where does it say such things about Mary? Please answer ALL the questions clearly. Thank you for your time.
@conradbirdy ....Even the bible says "how has it happened to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" [Luke 1:41-43), your interpretations are not ours....We do not worship Mary, nor do we say that she is necessary for salvation. It seems someone has lied to you about what we believe....

And the verse you shared does not prove a thing about how she has been exalted by the roman catholic church. The question for all is this: what/where is your standard of truth? And can truth change? As well, what must I do to be saved? ....By the way, you didn't answer my previous questions.

My protestant neighbor down the street begged me to illustrate the Hail Mary for her, as I am an artist. The Hail Mary comes directly from scripture. She calls Mary 'Mom'. She was so sweet to me, and hung the art in her dining room and shows her protestant friends. "Behold Thy Mother". It's not just catholics, it's anglican and orthodox, and many protestants accept this woman as MOM. Jesus would be proud ! Behold thy mother ! If you have a personal relationship, you will obey Jesus.
