However, you are totally and compeletly biased. It seemed as though he loved her more than Robin did, because his love went unrequited. Everything he did screamed of his love because he made it seem that way.
Marian loved Robin and Robin felt exactly the same. His desperation for her wasn't apparient, because it didn't need to be. Everything between them had never needed to be spoken.
That is true love.
Guy is a good man, and unfortunatly, he could not prove it
She didn't hate the forest, she was just struggling with the changes after the death of her father. And I don't believe she could ever hate being with and near Robin. I'm sure it was hard, but she loved him and he did her. Again, you are biased and are taking Guy's side. I love Robin and Guy, and felt that Guy was good inside, but he just didn't make the cut. He made decisions in his own intrest and not in the good of the peoples. That is something Robin never did.
Guy went against the Sheriff for Marian, Robin would never go against his eqivalent of the Sheriff, the king, for her. But h would if he loved her as much as Guy did. Marian was not just 'struggling with the changes' after her fathers death, she said she felt trapped, Guy gave her as much freedom he could in the castle without compromising her safety, Robin restricted her and was rude to her in the forest and talked down to her.
I'm not biased, I'm thinkng about their pasts, yes Robin lost his father bt Guy lost everything AND had a younger sister to care for. Its perfectly understandable that hes so resentful towards Robin, Robin has everything he wants and he is entitled to. Guy risked his life and everything for Marian, Robn left her to fight a foreign war that didnt concern him. He let her for personal glory because no matter what, the king and the poor will always come before Marian. For Guy its just Marian.
That is exactly why you are biased. dont you get it? Guy lost everything, so automatically he loves Marian more? that makes no since to me. His actions are more profound since he has almost nothing, yet Robin had a life before the show started and his loved seemed milder. He is just more contained, more rational.
@gaeliclas xD Don't be stupid, Robin is not more contained or rational you are just trying to justify his behavior towards Marin because you don't want to admit that Guy loved Marian more. I am ot saying that because Guy lost everything he loves Marian more, I am however saying he is more deserving of that love because he put his life on the line for Marian and respected her, Robin was rude and sexist to her when she lived in the camp and she went back to Guy at the first chance.
Well that would explain why the season finale ended with Marian coming to Guy when he died, wouldn't it...Oh, wait!! It didn't end like that! that's right, she came to ROBIN!!!!
@gaeliclas ..Only because she didn't know about Kate, yeah because Robin loved Marian so much it took him all of 2 episodes to find a replacement, sorry, 2 replacements, one of which was the sister of the man that killed his 'beloved' and don't try to justify that by saying its 'his way of coping', he throws a strop when people don't adore him because hes vain and pathetic and wants someone to stroke his ego. He can't have loved her that much if he was so eager to go off with Kate and Isabella.
Ooh that look Guy gives at the end sends a shiver down my spine!

A lot of women seem to think they change "bad" guys.. I'm sick of it. Robin was the right man for Marian.

If Robin and Marian loved eachother so much and were so compatible then why did she hate living in the forest with him?

obsessive love is an ugly thing

Sorry - but I wouldn't mind, if I would be obsessively loved by someone as gorgeous as Sir Guy played by Richard Armitage... <)

I titally argree. The man is too hot to be legal, I meant that it was not all that surprising that he ended up killing her.
