Cool. An uncle of mine used to sit in on drums with Lonnie while they both lived near Lawrenceburg Indiana, as they were growing up. Although Lonnie never really wanted to be in the 'big time,' so many guitarist's, as you know, credit him with influencing his style.
Written after Lonnie was shot by a trigger happy Cincinnati cop shot him in the leg.
This happened in '75, and the cops there didn't get any friendlier, as I learned while living there in the late 70's and early 80's.

Lonnie used to set in with our band at a little joint we used to play over near smithville tn. And yeah he can still shred!!!!
