Happened to me too. My arm looked like yours. Teeth or no teeth, those grinders the tarpon have can really mess up your skin. It feels kinda like road rash and mine took a long time to heal. It really stung for a week!

That is AWESOME. I contemplated on doing that one time on a US naval base when Tarpons schooled like in the video, but in the school was this HUGE barracuda, about 6ft long, near world records like 70lbs. The Marines kept it around by feeding it scaps.

This is on the "Gulf Side" in Islamarada. They don't have teeth but they have a rough "pad" on the top and bottom. It's kinda like 60 grit sand paper or something.

I live in Brazil, and here there's a small fish called piraputanga ( I can´t remember the scientific name right now, they're great jumpers, and we feed the with a piece of meat or fish atached to a branch, instead of holding it with our hands (what would be stupid, since thos fish got teeth)
