I'm usually very supportive of social programs for hard working people, whether they work on Wall Street or clean toilets, or cut grass. When I see the third world mentality of getting off & gambling on the suffering & death of other creatures, I begin to understand the lack of empathy some people have for these type of people. Culture is never a defense for cruelty. Act uncivilized and you may be treated that way.
