@Pivotboy63 Yeah it would! We'er tryin to get the generator to put out the right amount of power, it only doin' 120 out of the 220-240 socket, if all else fails, the engine is getting pulled.
@5Tractorguy hmm check the wiring and the brushes in the generator head. The 220 is comprised of two- 110 lines, a neutral and a ground. maybe one leg is out on it because of faulty wiring, or bad brushes. I got a wheelhouse right now with a bad set of brushes on it. Hope you get it running right.

good deal you got, I building a generator now. got a 16hp honda clone 420cc single cylinder. glad its pull start incase the battery goes dead.

my dad works on rv's and he calls those "genercrap" but damn that would make one hell of a go kart engine
