  • I wish I had your luck!! Yes I'm a record collector (vinyl junkie) & recently won 46 GI Jive shows in an Internet auction run by a record dealer I know but not through Ebay. But I don't have your GI Jive shows even though I do collect transcription discs too. What I'd like to find are the later AEF Jukebox (Jill's Jukebox) shows that run a half hour with the same sweet sounding lady who calls herself Jill on GI Jive. Maybe one of these days......

  • Where did you find those GI Jive shows? Ebay? Or somewhere else?

  • @rbratcherjr - These were brought to my attention by a record collector friend locally. I ended up buying over 300 transcriptions, including several G I Jill shows.

  • Sorry I should have also thanked you for uploading these fantastic tunes . Best regards from Birmingham England

  • I think you will find that It's Artie playing Begin the Beguine

  • Thanks for uploading these!

  • what is the name of the last song at the end of the record

  • Cry, Cry Baby

  • oh i was asking the name of the instrumental song at the very end of the record after she finishes talking

  • Thats Artie Shaw playing his signature tune - Frenesi. Enjoy!

  • What a great voice! I could listen to her for hours!

  • GI Jill was portrayed by Martha Marty Wilkerson (1918-1999), a young mother who had worked with the Office of War Information.kerson (1918-1999), a young mother who had worked with the Office of War Information.
