Be nice if i found a video on Bill before his passing? Now i see he passed and nooo mention on radio, papers or t.v.? and im in n.y. Love you Ron.God bless.♥
Bill was the anchor jock to those meteoric guys who worked the airwaves at CBS-FM during the Progressive format and later into the Oldies. Every show was flawless and so tight. He was the consummate professional and a terrific person.
He was always sweet to my wife Millie who worked with him at the station. He was nice when I guessed at the brown bag and was way off. A true gentleman. Thanks for posting this.
Another great one gone. Started listening to Bill on WOR-FM in New York, before he went over to WCBS-FM.
Thanks for posting this video - really shows visually just how good Bill was in running a tight board besides his superb vocal delivery. Bill will be missed from the airwaves of New York...
Bill may not have had the fame as some of the other CBS-FM DJs, but he was a solid professional. with a great voice and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks Bill for the memories.
@samspinchat Bill may not have had the fame of the "big four" (Harry, Ron Dan and Brucie), but Bill in many ways was THE foundation of 101.1 since he literally was there from beginning (October 1969) to end (June 2005), spanning CBS-FM entire first life with live air personalities.
WOW! That's some video! He was one of my favorite dj's..I remember working outside back in 1997 listening to him..It made the day go by..At least we have these aircheck....Thanks for this posting!

"One oh one in the City, with the greatest hits of all time!"
Also the best laugh on CBS-FM. Better than Al Vertucci's.

I'm guessing the November 1987 was Nov. 12, since that was the day after a very early season snowstorm hit the northeast.
A true legend and you see how great he was running the boards himself!
