Really? If the act of switching styles is selling out then AM! has sold out. They started as an anarchist, anti establishment, gritty punk band and now they have music videos and appear on MTV. This song inspires me to live my life like I never grew up. Too bad they changed their ways, or didn't adapt this song, it's one of my favorites ever. Ever.

It's not as polished as New Wave (in a gritty sort of way, which is good in my opinion) but it's not nearly as raw as earlier albums (Original Cowboy for example).
Politically I like it a lot better than the solo release, it gets away from supporting one of our two crappy political parties, moving more towards change starting w/you
