I made this suggestion back in 2002, as a Student and Travis County Firefighter. It Fell on deaf ears. Hope you guys have better luck. Fact of the matter is that AFD and Austin EMS has the campus mapped backwards and forwards, I wouldn't doubt that some of those firefighters know the campus better than most students. They do walk through's, inspections, training and pre-fire planning constantly. I say leave it up to AFD/EMS. They know what they are doing. But good luck. hope it works out
