First the republicans want smaller government, then they turn around and want to sue the federal government for not being large enough. Not one candidate has said they will raise taxes to fund border patrol, or port security. If you want to protect our borders, you have to fund the agencies to do their jobs.

Beg your pardon, realoldguy1969, but Dr Paul has said that he will enforce our borders, and will fund it in part by the savings of getting American troops out of all the undeclared conficts, and by quitting making them occupy sovereign nations, etc. That way, our borders can be protected effectively (no massive wall required), and, with federal welfare curtailed, there will be much less demand to come here from Mexico and beyond.
