I have been curious about this. During that first fast lick, he is playing frets 12,14, and 15 (on different strings of course) and using his first, second and third finger. Is this the "right" way to do it? Is it wrong to use the first, third, and fourth finger on these frets? Just been bugging me because everyone I see plays it with fingers 1, 2 and 3. Everyone but me.

i normally play with those fingers, too, but i have problems getting enough tension in my little finger when i hit the 15 on the b -string and then the 15 on the g-str- so i try to relearn it with 1,2 and 3 because they are simply stronger; but one advantage of 1,3,4 is that stretching and hand position is much more comfortable on various positions (for me)
