Timer originally appeared in an ABC Afterschool Special called "The Incredible, Indelible, Magical Physical, Mystery Trip." I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but I believe his name had something to do with the human heart.

Thes were from the 70s, not the 80s. They ran on ABC.
Timer originally showed up on an ABC Afterschool Special guiding some live-action kids through their animated bodies, to learn about health.

LOVE IT!!!! This used to come on about 30 times on Saturday mornings, between episodes of Benji, The Little's and WWF Rockin' Wrestlin' cartoons....watching in my Rude Dog or OP tee shirt and pair of Skidz...fuck man, growing up in the 80's was RAD
