actually, i'm quite convinced she sings almost all of it live, save a few parts where the dancing is more intense (as she always does). coz the "dareka dakishimete" bit sounds different to the studio recording. and her voice sounds a little bit more husky xD

It's called playback. BoA was recorded singing "Bad Drive" sometime before the concert. Then the recording was played during the performance. It's better than lipsyncing because she's dancing to herself singing the song, not the actual polished single.

People use it when they have to dance alot, or for other reasons.

In BoA's case her dancing was SICKK. Absolutely amazing :) She's so talenteddd.
