Not really. The brutes were the guards for the Prophets only after Master Chief killed the prophet of... Something. I forgot, but it was due to the death of this Prophet that the Elites were deemed too noob to protect the Prophets, therefore the brutes then became the Guards. In Halo one, the Elites were still the guards.

Not true. The events of First Strike take place BEFORE Chief kills the Prophet of Regret. After Regret dies, the Brutes are reincorporated into the Cov. military. They lost their status after their defeat at Harvest, and many of their members were imprisoned (Halo Wars timeline).

In online gameplay, I never use elephants when I play as Cutter because they are slow and useless. Most of my army is composed of ODST's so using the elephants ability to train marines is quite useless.

For this Level, I just train some marines (I never get flamethrowers cause their horriable) and I just stay at the beginning kiling what ever brutes come down to my troops. I then use My resources for carpet bombs and I wait till my spartans come from behind, then I send in my marines.
