this is a good game, HOWEVER... the M1 Garand should be a 2 shot kill AT MOST. a large round such as the 30-06 is quite powerful and deadly. im seeing 3, 4, and even 5 rounds being used. this isnt a .22, that has no power, this is a rifle made to KILL with one round. for those that have no knowledge of rifle bullets, condiser this. what hurts more, getting hit with a golf ball(.22), or getting hit with a bowling ball (30-06)? these games do an injustice to such a wonderful and powerful rifle.

The m1 garand is a very good weapon and probably one of the best but the thing is a lot of the time you have to have patience cause the thing only has 8 shots and if you cant be patient enough then it might not be the weapon for you thats why most people hate it but i think it is the best rifle cause it is deadly and takes a lot of skill

@MrBuffaloM only in this game. in real life, its a 1-2 shot kill at the most. its accurate at long distances. it sucks because the game makers didnt take into account the actual power of the rifle. it takes sometimes 5 shots to killsomeone in this game, and the sights are wrong. the rear circle is far too big to get an accurate shot off. you have your opinion, and i have mine. but the historical evidence outweighs the video game standing.

the m1 garand is actually better than the 8 shot m14 in zombies mode, faster empty reload animation. it's only in the black ops classic maps tho.

@ZigZagRunner its a semi-automatic. the action (semi or bolt) doesnt determine the power, the size of the round (bullet, cartridge) does. the m1 is a 30-06 round, and in real life, the thing could stop a black bear with one solid hit.

M1 Garand and bolt action rifles r the hardest weapons to get a kill with. The M1 with the sniper scope is like one of the best. Cod 4 and w@w, best cod this gen. so far. Can't wait 4 cod blacks ops.

Yeah really, the 30-06 150 grain round can drop any North American big game animal in one well placed shot, like a moose or grizzly bear, ect. Seems kinda funny that a mere human can take 2 direct hits from a 30-06, and still keep running, yet a huge animal goes down in 1 hit in reality.........COD has ALOT to learn about realistic weapons.......or realistic gameplay or the military in general, but beside the point.
