It's just I grew up watching platoon and can't help but think of that scene when I hear this music. If you've never seen the film I recommend it, it's very good and based on Oliver Stones' personal experience in the Vietnam war.
@Xineohp37 Understand ^_^ It's a movie from my childhood also, which for some reason I gave a wide berth. Looking back I'm feeling it was because, it did not feel good. No issues with fantasy violence or horror, but I think because I knew it was about something real, I couldn't view it as entertainment. @Xineohp37 I've never seen the movie Platoon. For me it was music, in itself, beautiful, with only goodness. I don't have a sad associate memory with this composition so, that's what is up with that. I know now, but I can't change the music.

the main concern i have with abraham is that another channel, claiming to be speaking for GOD (big G), says 'the feelings can no longer be told how to feel'..
this will result in the death of the emotional body.

@itsmedontusee Does it matter if it's "real" or not if the message is good? Sometimes humans are capable of saying wise things themselves if they're aligned with their higher self. It doesn't matter if it's Abraham or Jesus or Santa Clause. The main question is, do you feel it's REAL?

Your question is understandable if you are new to these concepts, so I would advise this: You DO NOT need to spend any money to use this material, it is available FREE on youtube. There is also a FREE download called the Masterkey System which I downloaded from the net about 2 years ago - but it is still available and gives specific 'tools' to use. The SETH material is more specific and detailed so do not begin with this. It is also touched upon in the CWG books. Good Luck

Great words from Abraham, however I don't feel aligned with Abe videos with music on them as it disrupts the natural energy flow of pure vibration for me and it just causes resistance in me anytime I hear them, so I end up not finishing lol I won't dislike it because I appreciate the words, love Abraham, Esther and Jerry, there are some nice pictures and I appreciate youtube for existing and the original song, in it's own right is nice :)

this is nice, but I was rejected by my mother daily because she didn't want to deal with my pain. I was being tortured by a stepfather. severely. I was under age five. walking away from other's pain when they need help is sometimes wrong. don't tell me my vibration was off and there was no way to help me. someone could have helped, they just were selfish. not always good to be selfish. i was not to blame at all.

Because we as children are in response of what a parent's role and active duty is to us. Yes you were violated and you were denied truth! However now you can put this into practice, being in the light and change your view on that situation and heal from something that hurt you and you can change it to good. @octohorse - Selfishness that is done destructively (out of fear, ego, anger etc) is damaging to yourself and others. However, "Selfishness" that is basic and based on "love," is what keeps your body 'selfishly' looking to heal itself (physically). I think you would really like Louise Hay's books. She was raped at the age of 5, too. Actually, her story is heart-wrenching and it wasn't until she was in her 40s that she discovered a "secret" to change her life and reclaim it forever. @octohorse Yes every human needs love and compassion especially from their parents. But you are to blame for your unhappiness for expecting your parents to give you the compassion or the kind of help that they might not even be capable of giving you. They might not be emotionally/spiritually grown enough to be capable of true compassion yet.
I noticed someone saying why did the people n the gas chambers attract that to them? My explanation is that they were living In fear for ages so their vibrational field would sadly attract that :-(

I know someone who started out with hope and expectations and was vibrating positively with positive expectations in the music biz. then disappointments happened and now they are disappointed and dejected. @pietrrocks You ask awesome questions. but there is not enough room here to go into the complexity of this. I suggest reading the books, Both the Seth books and the Abraham books. The answers are there. deep seated beliefs must be revealed. If reality is not what you want then feel into what you want. You have to continually use the contrast to reach for a better feeling thought.

Question is - How do we quickly and effectively raise our vibration and keep it there? I've used the LOA before and manifested some things I wanted precisely as I wanted. And then I went from deliberate creating to creating by default, and lost control and created a reality I'm in now, which I really didn't want. So now I want to use the LOA to create what I want again but am finding it difficult to get to a good feeling place and stay there. How do I raise my vibration, and keep it up? thx!
@snm726 you can't. otherwise 'you' would. see that 'what' you are cannot be conceptualized becasuse 'it' is prior to thought. how else could phenomenon be experienced? if prior, then what you are is not an object. what do you do to see, hear, smell, taste or touch? nothing. what do 'you' do to think? NOTHING. it just happens. buddha called thought the 6th sense. ask this q: what's the next thought? no answer, mind quiet because an idea ask the question! you are powerless.
when you understand the vibration you are offering, then you understand the manifestation that is coming........I needed these words during this transition, I am a believer, but it's always good to have these reminders.

@mattfirebird - Your comment tells YOU that you are unhappy and that is up to YOU to change it. Why not become your own "boss?" There is no one else in your head but YOU. Thinking for one's self is difficult for so many people but if you meditate by saying to yourself, "I love and approve of myself" repeatedly and have that as your ONLY thought for a month, you WILL see changes. Louise Hay's book is a great place to start. That is where the exercise is from. Sceptics are limited thinkers.
@FredericaBimble - Scepticism is healthy. It shows responsibility of one's mind rather than blind acceptance. I see the LOA movement as being no different than any other religious fundamentalism. Eventually a movement like this develops it's own dogma, doctrine, etc. Suffering isn't always a result of our "failure'. In fact suffering can be a far more powerful treacher than happiness. The basic teaching of asking and receiving isn't bad, per se. It's just that it's been perverted and abused.
@MrSteviesax - Yes. You could try Louise Hay's book, "You Can Heal Your Life" which has actual exercises which, if done as instructed, will clear out all the old chatter in your mind. Boy, does it work. I used her book for 3 months and did the "I approve of myself" exercise and one day, I woke up and all I could do was laugh. AND, strangely, it was as if time stopped and there was a feeling of "the third eye" being open and a feeling of an open space around my head (like a halo).
I don't for a second buy the idea that Humans are 'gods' who command the universe,as some try to claim.
But here's my Take on God and the LOA.
I believe the bible story that mankind was created by God in his own image.Being omnipotent and all powerful,he was capable of talking/thinking the entire universe into being.
Being in the image of God,mankind is endowed with a measure of similar power.Therefore we are capable of molding our reality around us by our thoughts and words.

You can shout, kick or scream to prove your point..but god will still be present within you.
@gtw1983 - God does not have a gender. There is no male or female when speaking of source/god. Really think about it and then follow your own thoughts. NOT "what you've been told" but what source or "god" is telling you. If you clear your mind of all thoughts, you will understand the nature of yourself. Remember that you did NOT come into this world with "problems" or even opinions. How in the world could infinite intelligence even have a gender? It is illogical.

@itsmedontusee Does it matter if it's "real" or not if the message is good? Sometimes humans are capable of saying wise things themselves if they're aligned with their higher self. It doesn't matter if it's Abraham or Jesus or Santa Clause. The main question is, do you feel it's REAL?

Your question is understandable if you are new to these concepts, so I would advise this: You DO NOT need to spend any money to use this material, it is available FREE on youtube. There is also a FREE download called the Masterkey System which I downloaded from the net about 2 years ago - but it is still available and gives specific 'tools' to use. The SETH material is more specific and detailed so do not begin with this. It is also touched upon in the CWG books. Good Luck

Great words from Abraham, however I don't feel aligned with Abe videos with music on them as it disrupts the natural energy flow of pure vibration for me and it just causes resistance in me anytime I hear them, so I end up not finishing lol I won't dislike it because I appreciate the words, love Abraham, Esther and Jerry, there are some nice pictures and I appreciate youtube for existing and the original song, in it's own right is nice :)

this is nice, but I was rejected by my mother daily because she didn't want to deal with my pain. I was being tortured by a stepfather. severely. I was under age five. walking away from other's pain when they need help is sometimes wrong. don't tell me my vibration was off and there was no way to help me. someone could have helped, they just were selfish. not always good to be selfish. i was not to blame at all.

@octohorse - Selfishness that is done destructively (out of fear, ego, anger etc) is damaging to yourself and others. However, "Selfishness" that is basic and based on "love," is what keeps your body 'selfishly' looking to heal itself (physically). I think you would really like Louise Hay's books. She was raped at the age of 5, too. Actually, her story is heart-wrenching and it wasn't until she was in her 40s that she discovered a "secret" to change her life and reclaim it forever. But you are to blame for your unhappiness for expecting your parents to give you the compassion or the kind of help that they might not even be capable of giving you. They might not be emotionally/spiritually grown enough to be capable of true compassion yet.

I know someone who started out with hope and expectations and was vibrating positively with positive expectations in the music biz. then disappointments happened and now they are disappointed and dejected. How does this fit in with what this lady is saying? I dont understand it - were all the people who went into the gas chambers vibrating their horrible future? Someone explain this to me please?

@pietrrocks You ask awesome questions. but there is not enough room here to go into the complexity of this. I suggest reading the books, Both the Seth books and the Abraham books. The answers are there. deep seated beliefs must be revealed. If reality is not what you want then feel into what you want. You have to continually use the contrast to reach for a better feeling thought.

Question is - How do we quickly and effectively raise our vibration and keep it there? I've used the LOA before and manifested some things I wanted precisely as I wanted. And then I went from deliberate creating to creating by default, and lost control and created a reality I'm in now, which I really didn't want. So now I want to use the LOA to create what I want again but am finding it difficult to get to a good feeling place and stay there. How do I raise my vibration, and keep it up? thx!

@snm726 you can't. otherwise 'you' would. see that 'what' you are cannot be conceptualized becasuse 'it' is prior to thought. how else could phenomenon be experienced? if prior, then what you are is not an object. what do you do to see, hear, smell, taste or touch? nothing. what do 'you' do to think? NOTHING. it just happens. buddha called thought the 6th sense. ask this q: what's the next thought? no answer, mind quiet because an idea ask the question! you are powerless.

@mattfirebird - Your comment tells YOU that you are unhappy and that is up to YOU to change it. Why not become your own "boss?" There is no one else in your head but YOU. Thinking for one's self is difficult for so many people but if you meditate by saying to yourself, "I love and approve of myself" repeatedly and have that as your ONLY thought for a month, you WILL see changes. Louise Hay's book is a great place to start. That is where the exercise is from. Sceptics are limited thinkers.

@FredericaBimble - Scepticism is healthy. It shows responsibility of one's mind rather than blind acceptance. I see the LOA movement as being no different than any other religious fundamentalism. Eventually a movement like this develops it's own dogma, doctrine, etc. Suffering isn't always a result of our "failure'. In fact suffering can be a far more powerful treacher than happiness. The basic teaching of asking and receiving isn't bad, per se. It's just that it's been perverted and abused.

@MrSteviesax - Yes. You could try Louise Hay's book, "You Can Heal Your Life" which has actual exercises which, if done as instructed, will clear out all the old chatter in your mind. Boy, does it work. I used her book for 3 months and did the "I approve of myself" exercise and one day, I woke up and all I could do was laugh. AND, strangely, it was as if time stopped and there was a feeling of "the third eye" being open and a feeling of an open space around my head (like a halo).

I don't for a second buy the idea that Humans are 'gods' who command the universe,as some try to claim.
But here's my Take on God and the LOA.
I believe the bible story that mankind was created by God in his own image.Being omnipotent and all powerful,he was capable of talking/thinking the entire universe into being.
Being in the image of God,mankind is endowed with a measure of similar power.Therefore we are capable of molding our reality around us by our thoughts and words.

But the belief that humans are the center and guiding force of the universe is ridiculous.For the most part you are powerless to control anything outside of your own reality.Whereas God creates and manipulate EVERYTHING to his liking.The fact you still live and breathe is in his very control.

@gtw1983 - God does not have a gender. There is no male or female when speaking of source/god. Really think about it and then follow your own thoughts. NOT "what you've been told" but what source or "god" is telling you. If you clear your mind of all thoughts, you will understand the nature of yourself. Remember that you did NOT come into this world with "problems" or even opinions. How in the world could infinite intelligence even have a gender? It is illogical.
