@paolovski - Hallo und guten Abend, die FXS wurde 2008 ohne irgendwelche Beanstandungen von der MFK geprüft. Diesen November wird sie erneut von der MFK begutachtet und es sollten eigentlich keine Unklarheiten entstehen. Schöne Grüsse Roger :)

Im confused.

Ive been working on my gpa's 78 FXS and its a 1200cc. I thought Harley made the engine bigger from a 74" to an 80" in 1979.

Hi. thank you for your comment. No you don't have do be confused, this is one of the last 1200cc HD FXS Big-Twin (September '79). Info: 1970 thru 1979 4 Speed Big Twin: First 2 digits of the Harley Big Twin's VIN digits are the model code (In my case: 2F = FXS 1200). Next 5 digits, position 3-7 is the production run number. The last 2 digits designate the year (in my case: H9=1979). Hope i could help you. Best regards from Switzerland :)
