The only thing I hate about these uniforms is that from afar (especially with this footage and lighting), they look a little bit like Tennessee =/

this was the first season i remember as a very young kid where i was actually into lsu football. this game, especially, i remember very well! the alternates, the streaker, going to my notre dame neighbors house the next day to trash talk (note, i was about 5 or 6 at the time. my momma raised me right!). i was so into lsu football/didnt understand the difference between college and pros, that i thought lsu won the super bowl. i even got my first lsu jersey after this game (a #88 booty jersey)!

tough to beat a team twice in one year in their home state. notre dame beat lsu in south bend the next year to win the rubber match.

Here I am an LSU alum and I like these uniforms-for variety. Those helmets show up well on TV. The Indy Bowl is the best of the "budget bowls" , no question.

Never should LSU bring back that off color combo again. I like their classic uniforms.LSU and Tennessee have this in common. When you see Tennessee or LSU on television, immdediately those teams are recognized by their classic uniform look with Tennessee with the white helmets and Orange power T and LSU with that classic gold and white Jerseys. Leave this combo back in the past LSU.LOL
