Ummm doesn't anyone feel that this film actually makes a joke of homophobia?! Like I can easily imagine a group of heterosexual guys laughing at the vast number of homophobic insults and ignoring the actual message! I CANT imagine any hererosexual people being forced to reassess their views on gay rights and homophobia as a result of this advert. Sorry, but this just seems like a front for the FA to say that they're tackling homophobia!

There's a reason why this advert has been pulled, it's because most people inside the FA are homophobic themselves. Come on guys it's blatantly obvious. Pulling this advert is only going to continue the popular string of unacceptable and shameful behaviour. This is the 21st century and we need to accept that there's gay people in this world and they should be allowed to do all the things straight people can do. What difference does it make if a player is gay, they can still kick a football.

Seeing as there are no gay footballers then part of this is irrelevant. It's a mans game but thats a different story all together. Also when he is shouting at his work colleagues, thats total rubbish as in the stands you are singing at fans who are shouting insults back. They for example may be calling you a pikie, however being Gay is the ultimate insult to a normal man so will always remain on the terraces.

I go to lots of games and whenever some twat goes on a homophobic or racist rant they are turned on by those around them, and quite often ejected from the groud and hopefully never seen again. I think this is a really powerful ad. It's a shame the FA have turned tailed and delayed launching it (if we're being honest, they'll probably never launch it now).

I think if we'd got famous players to talk about being gay, it wouldn't have had the same effect, plus they'd have been ridiculed, which would have undermined the whole video.

This puts the issue in a much more realistic light, and will hopefully get some people to rethink their attitiudes; if not only the FA!

Too bad the FA are such - oh, I don't know - pussies that they can't put a strong message out there and rely on the public's intelligence to get it.
