I've read a little about comfrey being toxic to the liver. Also, do you think that it would grow in Florida?

basically she says to use "symphytum uplandica x" instead of "symphytum officinale" to avoid the toxic alkoloid, pyrrolizidine.

Should have mentioned in this video that you can take Comfrey and make "tea" out of it and water your plants as a mild natural fertilizer. Comfrey will also gives you mass amount of plant material to put into your garden compost pile.
