Britt nicole is one of my HUGE inspirations. God gave me a wonderful blessing and I got to meet her. I told her how being a teenage Christian isn't always easy and people tease and make fun of you and it's really hard sometimes. If you haven't watched "Without Reservations" (a Christian movie, about 25 minutes), then please look it up on youtube and watch it. Over the past weekend, I was on a retreat with my youth group and we watched it. It really impacted me and showed me how important it is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. I now have a different view on life and know that my life's purpose is to give God all the glory and show others that too.
My grandma has cancer, and shes to the point where the doctors cant do anything. She doesnt really know Christ, but she at least believes in God. God has been telling me to step out. My father, who doesnt know a thing about God, told me to witnesss to her. he said, i dont want anyone to do it, but you. At first he was totally agnist the idea. I keep running into scriptures and songs that point to where im suppose to be going and this song is exactly what i needed to hear! god is sooo good!

The part where she talked about "stepping out when your hope is stolen" made me cry a little on the inside... i was 9 years old when i wanted to kill myself, because my mother wanted to end her life, and taught me that there was nothing to look forward to... i've come a long way since then, but my mom wants to kill herself again. those words reminded me what it was like to be in despair, and how important it is for me to trust that God will take care of me, like he has my whole life.

If you haven't watched "Without Reservations" (a Christian movie, about 25 minutes), then please look it up on youtube and watch it. Over the past weekend, I was on a retreat with my youth group and we watched it. It really impacted me and showed me how important it is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. I now have a different view on life and know that my life's purpose is to give God all the glory and show others that too.

My grandma has cancer, and shes to the point where the doctors cant do anything. She doesnt really know Christ, but she at least believes in God. God has been telling me to step out. My father, who doesnt know a thing about God, told me to witnesss to her. he said, i dont want anyone to do it, but you. At first he was totally agnist the idea. I keep running into scriptures and songs that point to where im suppose to be going and this song is exactly what i needed to hear! god is sooo good!

The part where she talked about "stepping out when your hope is stolen" made me cry a little on the inside... i was 9 years old when i wanted to kill myself, because my mother wanted to end her life, and taught me that there was nothing to look forward to... i've come a long way since then, but my mom wants to kill herself again. those words reminded me what it was like to be in despair, and how important it is for me to trust that God will take care of me, like he has my whole life.

@BrightAsDawn I'm sorry to hear about your mother :/; My mother tried to end her life when I was really young too...and I know ppl must say 'i no how you feel' but I actually Know how you feel, and I no its not easy, and its a horrible thing to have to go through.
But you have great courage to keep on going and I admire you're faith in God :). With me my trust in God helped me with my mum, and its songs like this that help me do it.. This song is amazing , I love it ^-^.

this song is how i found Britt Nicole. 2 girls at our 1st Priority group(weekly thing at my school thats kinda like Church)sang this and i LOVED it so i searched this song on youtube and it led to this video. then i saw Britt's name and suggestions for some of her other songs and thus, I'm a HUGE Britt Nicole fan. she is my role model. This is a beautiful song, and so encouraging. Everyone has their tough times. It's part of life I know. But I never expected to loose my health and then my husband of 24 years. I thought my life was over. But God has a perfect plan, always, in this imperfect world. Never, never give up. Jesus has kept me from giving up. Even when everything inside me wanted to give up, He never did. he never let me go. So now I am starting over. I cling to Him every minute of everyday. AND HE NEVER FAILS.
