Nice Video! but here's my problem I watched this video like a year ago and everything worked fine but a few days ago i started playing again and decided to start playing with the pop cheat, so i do everyhting enter the game and all is fine 0/200 pop with 400 soldiers but after like 10 minutes the game automatically minimized and then a pop appears saying '' age of empires the is not responding,'' or something like that. Please could you help me!

I just edit the game files myself so that settlers use no population and reduced the population of cannon and cavelry to 1... more fun that way..

I might try set all units to zero and then i could have thousands of soldiers..

@TheBoss888, of course it doesn't, the other players files would have to be the exact same as the files u edited if u wanted to play online. besides, there's a site that has modded files, especially unlimited pop without the CE Hassels.

You can't change the population for units to 0 on the proto.xml file anymore. The newest patch gets rid of that. I mean you could change it to 0, but all it says is "additional "" required to make another settler." Is there anyway around this? Other than this Cheat Engine?

love it man i have changed the pop count change the pop to 0/200 so i can have 0 houses and have 30-50 guys training also can mod how many buildings i can have like out post i built like 30 of them. altho i can't dine out how to change how many people get trained at one time in one stable. prob can not do with this cheat altho i have only been playing with it for the last few hours. thanx man

A little tip. When values come up in the cheat engine window. All green ones are values that r static, or in other words, Never Change. So if your looking for something like a pop count which changes, it won't be a green value. Little tip...

a faaar easier way is to set the population count for each unit to 0 in data/proto.xml

make a right click and select OPEN WITH and then select editor

Awesome, I got it working after a few tries. There was a lot more than 3 addresses I had to freeze and modify. I am using Windows 7, and probably a newer version of Asian Dynasties than the poster. If anyone wasn't able to understand the vid. What you're doing is looking for the Memory address that stores your population count. When you find it, click the check mark on the left side, that freezes the address so it can't change, then double click the far left number and change it to 0.

Every time i close a game and open again the hack doesn't work because the Adrees Change every time you close.. is this true ? or is ther a way to make a hack that works always on any game ?

@icblud I have the patch that you need to install asian dynasties. > start skirmish wwith 6 village people > open ce and chose the agey.exe > search for 6 >slaught 1/6 = 5 villager >search 5 >do that until i find only 1 result (3) >change the number from 3 to 0 and then freeze it >go back to the game > make more people. then the population cap raise from 0-1 > go back to CE and change and look (it was still 0 and frozen) > unfreeze it (then teh number turns into 1923912930) help? it doesnt work

the 1 gig of ram would answer it. Try lowering your graphics go to options and lower everything. The game wont look as good but it should run smooth
